Staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk clerk tried her
best to communicate effectively in English and would use her dictionary
to facilitate the process. For those traveling to Shanghai, I suggest
learning a few key words and phrases in mandarin that could prove
useful. Words such as deposit, bus fee, check-in, check-out, and so on

A staff member also escorted me to my room took my bags. The room was very clean, neat, and spacious. -
The staff were friendly and helpful and despite the lack english they organised bus to airport etc for me. The restaurant is good and open quite late.

Nice hotel with good rooms and good beds. Very good to stay at if you are planning to fly the next morning. The free shutte bus will just take 5 minutes to the airport. In some way you get the feeling that this hotel has an American or European manager. It is the only hotel I have been to in China that is running like a normal western hotel. Effic

Very convenient for Pudong airport transfers. Room was very comfortable and well kitted out with kettle and variety of toiletries. There is a treadmill on site, free and fast Internet, and free shuttle that goes to the airport regularly. Lifts are very quick despite 9 floors of rooms. Doormen are excellent at helping ith cabs if you can't speak Chinese.

This 3 star hotel was efficient, clean, convenient to the airport and had everything you need (comfortable bed, internet, desk, good lighting, plenty of electrical outlets) for about a third of the cost of the -
The location is just 5 min away by car from Pudong Airport which is great if you need a room for just one night.

There was shuttle bus at every half hours from the hotel to the airport and the subway the first station is at the airport so the connection to the subway is so convenient. Subway reaches evry nice point of shanghai so the we consider the location is also nice. -

Hotel counter available( outside exit area after customs clearance) to
provide shuttle bus service to hotel. Trip to hotel is free but return
journey to airport is cny 30 per person which is a good deal.

W stayed just one night in this gloriously comfortable hotel which was close to the airport for our onward flight. We ate vegetarian food in one of the private rooms in the Royal China restaurant and it was extraordinary and incredibly good value at £18 for several courses for both of us. The breakfast, likewise was the best we have eaten anywhere

Luxurious Rooms, Awesome Restaurant, Staff was extremely attentive. We had a wonderfull stay. We were awakened at midnight, opened our drapes and were treated to a wonderful display of fireworks right in front of our floor to ceiling windows. Chinese New Year Celebration. We just missed the shuttle bus and chose to take a taxi. I had no Chinese money. I went into the hotel and they paid the cab driver and then billed my credit card. This was good. This is a great hotel to overnight between flights to and from Shanghai Pudong airport. I arranged - at short notice - for a (free) hotel pickup at the airport, and this worked perfectly; I also took the hotel bus - again gratis - back to the airport (c. 15 minutes) the next morning. Short taxi ride from pvg airport,shopping mall at the back of the hotel
and easy walk to busy shopping areas.Great room service, excellent
bathroom. No problems finding English speaking staff and all were
courteous and friendly.Room was much better than I expected for the
money paid. Free shuttle bus to airport as well! Hint: when travelling
by taxi have the phone number of your hotel for the driver, they dont
speak english but will ring the hotel for directions.
