Ulises, the owner, was the most helpful person I have ever met! My boyfriend and I were driving to Camila 109 and we got a flat tire on the way. When we arrived, Ulises helped us with the repair every step of the way.
Flat tires aside, the view was spectacular and the breakfast on the patio was the best way to start a day of exploring Valparaíso

Valparaiso is a must see place and the owner Ulises gave perfect advice to approach it - sights, restaurants, ... We had the best room of this beautiful small house, large enough and great view over the city and bay. Other rooms are much smaller but everybody has great views from the lobby and terrace. Great breakfast. Good WiFi.

Maria is very warm and welcoming. She speaks excellent English, and explained the neighbourhood and where to go when we arrived. The best location for Valparaiso as you are in the heart of the Concepción and Allegro Hills which are very artsy and bohemian. Hotel is full of lovely personal decorations such as Maria's grandmother's hats - very cool!

The twin beds and pillows were notably comfortable (the best of the 4 week trip). The owner was very helpful and ensured that our visit was excellent. We loved the location and felt that the breakfasts were top notch.

It was well taken care of, you can tell that the owners care for the
place, they keep it clean, rooms are very cozy; and, one very important
thing you don't find very often: the temperature of the water was
perfect! You can take a hot/warm shower , since their solar panel

Excellante! Never met better hosts.Jose,Karen & Monica go above and
beyond for their guests. We feel at least 90% of running a B&B are
the hosts, and these folks are the best. We were also surprised at how
easy it was to travel the whole city and beyond from their location, yet
avoid the noise and confusion of locating in the more touristy parts of
Valpo. The accomadations are very clean and the hosts wonderful.
Combined with a easily accessible location, you cannot beat Casa Henao.

Very homely, clean and comfortable hostel. The hostal is located behind the main street at Cerro Alegre - quiet yet accessible to the main area. Lovely hosts, Marcela & Nachos. They are always ready to offer help and advice when needed. Nice and simple breakfast. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

House and décor were beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful and informative - they took us down the mountain to show us where to catch the trolley bus and collectivo (cheap taxis to take you back up the mountain), and spent time telling us places to visit and how to get there. It felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel.

Our stay at the Grand House was as fascinating as Valparaiso itself. Great location, beautiful home and Doris and Carolina charming and informative hostesses. If you are driving - follow the directions you receive from Doris (don't follow the GPS!)

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful location with incredible 360 degree views of Valparaiso from the lounge/dining area on top level. Very accommodating - they organised delicious vegan breakfast for us every morning. Short walk to all the hot-spots, shops, train station. -

Amazing staff, very talkative and genuinely interested in their guests having a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe stay. The owners are a wonderful older couple who visit while they make your breakfast - great fresh coffee :) And Victoria was also very welcoming. Location very good - on Cerro Concepción, so close to great restaurants and sights, but located in an alley off the main street, so a little quieter at night. LOVED my stay - lovely space and design - cant say enough good things about it
