  House and décor were beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful and informative - they took us down the mountain to show us where to catch the trolley bus and collectivo (cheap taxis to take you back up the mountain), and spent time telling us places to visit and how to get there. It felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. Lovely v - Our stay at the Grand House was as fascinating as Valparaiso itself. Great location, beautiful home and Doris and Carolina charming and informative hostesses. If you are driving - follow the directions you receive from Doris (don't follow the GPS!)
