This beachfront resort on Cox Bay features daily surf lessons and bicycle rentals. A full kitchen is available in every accommodation and the Pacific Rim National Park is 1.5 km away. Traditionally styled, each accommodation at Beach Resort Pacific Sands boasts a stone fireplace and a flat-screen cable TV. All provide a private patio or deck and a dining area. They are decorated in natural tones and offer floor-to-ceiling windows. Cougar Annie’s Garden, situated on 5 acres, is 4 km from the resort. Wilderness tours and whale watching can be arranged nearby the resort. Umbrellas and raincoats are available for guests during storm watching season. Pacific Sands Beach Resort Ltd. offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The resort offers over 450 DVDs for guests to rent and a selection of board games are available for free. Guests can go beachcombing or explore tidal pools. Beach toys and boogie boards are available for use. A sunset walk through the rainforest and guided interpretive walks are offered.

We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniv. in our middle 70's. This was a bit more expensive than our fixed pensions would normally allow, but it was special. Unfortunately, my wife fell ill and was "down for the count" on the Sun. and Mon. of our stay. These were the days we had planned special meals in Tofino. Never happend. However your facilities are wonderful and the setting spectacular. Will try to save our money for a repeat in a year or two.

The beach is well used by others which as a new surfer gives me comfort. the boardwalk close by gives you multiple areas for sunset watching every night. this resort is fairly basic (no pools or hot tubs etc) however, we could have stayed there another week for sure. Highly recommend this hotel. I had stayed at Pacific Sands in 1995 and it has changed somewhat since then. Nevertheless, the hotel has a great location, right on a beautiful beach. Rooms are clean, if a little cramped in the studio apartment. However, if you're in Tofino, you're generally out exploring anyway. We loved the view, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, our room was comfortable and clean. Also really enjoyed the lodge - spent a very nice evening out by the fire getting to know lots of fun new people. Would visit again and would recommend. The proximity to the beach/ocean was exactly what we wanted. The beds were comfortable and the sitting area perfect for reading and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Courteous staff. The location was excellent and access to the beach was great. all good, except crab is much more expensive than expected. Pacific Sands is a dream. We arrived by plane and the staff was very helpful in providing for shuttle service and also had some food items available, but wish we had known earlier about restaurants within walking distance as well as those that deliver. Maybe be provided a one page list upon check in. That there was no restaurant but we would stay with you again despite that as a trip to Tofino is always part of our stay. Lack of magnifying mirror in bathroom. Pull out bed was in deplorable condition. Broken springs; poor mattress. Unable to sleep comfortably. Should not be in use. Weather. few restaurant facilities. The Challenging road and drivers when journeying by car. Location of our room. Views were minimal, room was dark, noise level from the road and other rooms were loud. If choosing to stay here again we would not choose the Lighthouse rooms at all.
