The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The area the hotel is in is newly renovated and is safe to walk around freely during days and nights.

The hotel is charming. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and
accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom
were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location
of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy
shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk.
Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.

The hotel is a wonderful example of a boutique hotel. The superior room has wonderful old wooden floors, and is dressed in a plush colonial fashion. The rest of the hotel is modern and clean but still hold the feel of intamcy of a grand house. The staff are polite and work hard to and with pride to make you feel welcome. -

We just loved our stay. Everything was made to make our stay lovely with
small attentions. For example we were on honeymoon and when we arrived
in our room, there were red petals on the floor, a bottle of local

A magical design oasis! Extraordinary boutique hotel with only 5
rooms/suites at the edge of Salvador's Pelhouriño is the most
memorable way of being introduced to the historic centre of the city.
The staff is extremely helpful in every way possible and the breakfast
cook will introduce you to authentic flavours of the region if you
wish...with the breakfast buffet a rainbow of tropical fruits and
delicious baked goods - omelets to order. Cannot recommend high enough!!

This is an outstanding small hotel with fabulous, individually appointed rooms, immense charme and character, situated in a quiet location in the middle of the historic center of Salvador, serving a delicious breakfast and offering excellent cuisine. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. This is the best boutique hotel I have ever been staying in.
