  What an amazing place to stay for a holiday! The first pousada to be founded in Trancoso about 28 years ago by a couple whose grown children (Joanna and Ian) now virtually run the place. We had deluxe rooms at a very reasonable rate compared to the pousadas located directly on the beaches nearby. We were in walki - A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.

  Everything was great! Nice location , nice breakfast . The owners are very friedly and worried about making the guests satisfied . - we had a wonderfull stay! Pierre and Sophie are very nice and made us feel confortable. Super recommend it

  The hotel is about 100 m from the main street of the city and from there another 100 m to the main beach and the turtle park. It also offered free parking to us. The hotel is in a very safe area (generally Praia do Forte is safe) and someone can walk freely at any day or night time.
