The staff were exceptionally knowledgable, pleased to help with grace and delight. The hotel is an obviously interesting old building which had been wonderfully kept, clean comfortable and cool in the heat, the high ceilings were a boon. Breakfast was delicious constant fresh supplies were brought in for me the best- great coffee! We had rooms facing the road and were surprised that there was no noise issue to disturb us. Great value.

Rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. Food was excellant quality, staff helpful and friendly. This hotel and the proprietor are both absolutely charming. Carinne made us feel as though we were being welcomed into her own home. On arrival she gave us coffee and biscuits and a very helpful explanation of what Ieper had to offer. Our room was private, very quiet and very comfortable. I can not think of anything we didn't like. Carine , one of the owners is simply a very lovely person. She made us tea as soon as we arrived and spent ages chatting with her. Her chocolate cakes were delicious. Then she showed us to our room - the 'wild' one. I had seen the photos of it on the web site but they didn't do it justice. As soon as Carine left, having shown us how to work everything, we were straight into the bath!!. The snacks and the free mini bar were very welcome. The breakfast

The hotel was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including arranging a battlefield tour for us. We had a substancial breakfast each morning which set us up for the day. The hotel was just a ten minute walk from the station and about the same to the city centre. Hoping to pay another visit in September.

Sat nav co-ordinates worked perfect to reach B & B. I had informed of a very early arrival to Sonia, owner and if we could leave our bags and use a loo etc. She was brilliant and as the room was available she had got it ready as we arrived at 09 30 hrs. Mark* her husband spent quite some time with us to outline numerous places of interest concerned with WW1 fields and wrote down a detailed list of proposed sights to view. they were both very welcoming and made us feel easy to move around. D

We had a fantastic welcome. David was so friendly and extremely accommodating. He provided a complete breakfast and lots of information about the town and activities to to.
The room was great. It comes with everything included, good shower, towels, soap breakfast table and tea and coffee.

Lovely welcome from a host who could not have been more accommodating. Thanks to Benoit we were able to watch the Last Post ceremony from very close quarters. His help was very much appreciated.

We stayed at Menin Gate House for 4 nights and could not believe how
amazing this place is, Benny meet us on the first night and gave us
prime position during the Menin Gate service and it was something we
will never forget. We ddid nearly all of the battlefields and memorials
and they are all so handy from this location. The rooms are decorated in
honour of our troops that paid the ultimate sacrifice and its people
like Benny that will never let anyone forget. I can highly recommend
this place
