  Wow, what a great surprise. I had seen the photos, and knew that there were spa facilities, but I had not anticipated the size and scope of them. I was quite impressed, and took full advantage of most of the complex. The breakfast was outstanding, and I ate to my heart's content. My daughter was travelling with me as I had to have a heart procedure at the hospital, and they made her feel very safe and secure, as it was the first time staying in a hotel on her own. The room was spacious and the addition of a working living flame fire made it very cosy.

  Nothing was too much trouble for this B&B owners. Having arrived late at night, Rene fetched us from the train station with no extra cost and could not have made our stay more comfortable. Complimentary bathroom items were above average and free coffee and water and amaretto biscuit were provided.

It is a cosy and relaxing place and I will visit - Hotel and restaurant need to be considered separately because there is a degree of mismatch between them. The hotel provides clean, comfortable, well thought out and equipped accommodation aimed at business travelers and it does this well. The restaurant is more up-market and offers fine dining from a good menu. It was surprisingly full for our Monday evening meal. The restaurant does what it does very well.
