  Beds were super comfy especially for my husband who suffers with a bad back (from a serious car accident in yr 2000) he said it has to be the best hotel for comfort he has ever stayed at (and we travel alot for leisure) The staff were super helpful, I didnt have to pay for parking like it stated in the email (off site parking provided) I didnt fee... cosa dice la gente » l like it was too much or too less it had what we needed the shops were in close so we were able to buy 1.5litre drinks and leave in the fridge for th - The Family room was very spacious and nice. There was no time to check out the pool/spa but the pictures were very nice. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the view of the streets were very entertaining. Nice staff, nice people & friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended especially if you have a budget.

Mercure Townsville has a lovely feel to it with its well maintained gardens and pool area. The room had small kitchenette. It was only a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre which had buses to the city. There were a few cafes / fast food outlets in the same block.

  We stayed here for two nights and got a special for the room, it had a great room with foxstar, we loved it. The bed was wonderful we hardly got out, room service was although a little on the pricey side AMAZING it's in a great area, close to everything. We're defiantly staying again! - I was a late arrival and pleased to find out the restaurant... cosa dice la gente » was open till 10pm. Most similar hotels shut the kitchen down at 8. Great quality food presented well. Easy, no fuss breakfast. Will choose to stay at Rydges next time.
