The location was great, walking distance to cbd. Loved the 2 bedroom
suite we were assigned, had everything you could ask for except the
internet connection which was a waste of time (and money). The staff we
encountered during the day were super. Night clerk was not very helpful
or friendly. -

great service, friendly staff, lovely buffet breakfast and the most comfortable bed. this was not our first visit have stayed quite a few times and will be going back. -
Being so close to Lygon Street and a walk into the city was very convenient. Also on site parking. The hotel in exceptionally clean. We will return here.

Everyone, from the people on the desk to the cleaning staff to the people in the restaurant at breakfast time were polite, helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome without being 'in your face'. The breakfasts were very impressive with a great choice of fresh, delicious food and coffee made to order. The fresh fruit platter was an unexpected, very appreciated highlight on arrival. Apartment is very clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with lots of facilities which made our stay very comfortable. The washing machine, dryer and dish-washer are real bonuses. Kitchen is fully equipped with sufficient cookwares, crockery and cutlery. They even do housekeeping on a daily basis and everything is well-replenished.

The staff were extra friendly and helpful allowing us to park the car early in the morning, then go into town and check in later in the day. Exec apartment is comfy, roomy and well equipped, even has a coffee machine. Off street parking is a bonus in this area. Good tram service into the city, short walk to St Kilda beach, cafes/restaurants, Luna park.

We loved Mantra on Russell. From the moment we checked in, the experience was great. Particular mention must be made of Mr Aaron Light at the front desk. He was very professional and extremely helpful. The apartment was very clean and the housekeeping personnel were very good and efficient. We have stayed in several apartments in Melbourne during our previous trips there but this is by far the best! Will definitely stay there again!

I can't say enough good things about the Alto and staff . The room was clean ,comfortable and had little extras that made you feel at home.I had a mini box of chocolates and a welcome note waiting in my room as well as my luggage that they had kept secure for me for a week I was traveling to Caines . I came here 18 months ago, also to take part in a seminar and found that there have now been many improvements. The room was much nicer this time and I was very impressed with the way the staff at the bar and restaurant went out of their way to help and please. The food and service were excellent. The conference area was also very good.
