The hotel staff were fantastic. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The cleaning/maintenance staff was on top of things and really very good. The shuttle drivers were super. They all made us feel very welcome and appreciated. -

Location was outside of downtown Gettysburg. This made for very quiet
evenings. Upscale accomidations with two flat screen TVs in the
Lt.'s quarters. Loved the historical artwork in the room so much we

It was on Route 30 which made finding restaurants, stores and movie theaters very easy and convenient to us. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Also we came in one night very late and they had locked the entrance door. Someone was behind the counter and opened it up for us. We felt safe that they had secured the building. -

The location - it's close proximity to a lot of historical sites being first timers in Philly we were not disappointed. The hotel itself is already a historical site, they can add more options for the breakfast. It's also near the Greyhound bus station which is accessible. A souvenir shop is nearby which is an added bonus as well. -

Great pubs, restaurants nearby and a very safe area of Philly. The hotel has kept its historic charm but with nice modern amenities such as flat screen t/v's and a decent hot breakfast.

This property is under new management and getting better every day... you won't find better service. The location is fantastic--geographically central to attractions and restaurants--and yet quiet and restful--it's surrounded by farms. (Okay, so you might hear an occasional "moo" and the clip clop of passing Amish wagons.) -

I absolutely loved this hotel. I'm so picky about staying in hotels
and I searched for a good one for days. Realizing I knew nothing about
any hotels in Philadelphia and knowing that I needed somewhere to stay
for the football game on Sunday I just picked this one based on reviews.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful all the way through. Maid service was excellent as well! Our room was clean and things were quiet at night. Also, you guys have the best breakfast bar EVER, and I've stayed in quite a number of hotels. I'd definitely come back if I'm staying in western pa again! -

I could go straight to my room when arriving at 3am. Bree also worked

food is/was great. Whether traveling with a family or not, I would
first look to stay at The Conwell Inn if I'm ever in the Philly
area again. -
They are pet friendly. Even after their pet and parking fees it was
cheaper than hotels of similar quality. North Philadelphia feels like
home for someone from Baltimore. The Temple campus is nice, especially
the old buildings on Broad Street. We were in town on Thanksgiving
weekend so the students were not there, and it was quiet.
