The location is incredible! It is one block round the corned from Grand Central Station and just a very short walk to the Public library and Bryant Park, the Rockefeller Centre and Times Square. From our window we looked right at the Chrysler Building wich is also on a few short blocks away.

Celebrated an anniversary with the wife. We live in Long Island so we
decided to book a room in the city for the night as we had tickets to a
broadway play and dinner reservations. We got to the hotel first to
settle in before heading out to dinner. We were presently surprised
that they had upgraded us to a sweet. The suite was beautiful, it even
had a balcony! We almost didn't want to leave the hotel the whole
night, but we did and the whole time we were thinking and couldn't

The room was extra large and very neat and clean. The employees were very friendly and helpful. This motel was full but you could not hear any noise from other rooms or the hall way. -

The hardwood floors were a nice surprise--the updated, very clean bathroom was glorious, and the staff were absolutely the best. We also enjoyed the coffee and breakfast before heading out each morning. We definitely will stay there each time we visit NYC in the future. -

This facility was certainly outdated, but far from dirty. I felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. The staff was extememly friendly and helpful. The bath and shower were as clean as an older model can be expected to be. Linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. -

Loved the attention to detail and comfort! The art deco feeling reno has created a totally cool and modern vibe, and succeeds in playing up and preserving many of the beautiful historic details. Surprises like the fireplace and coffee table books in our room made for a lovely weekend escape! -

This is such a gem in the downtown area. If you want to feel special this is the place to visit. Everything from the welcome at our vehicle, to the happy hour in the parlour, to the limo service to our fine dining restaurant (as suggested and reserved by the staff), to the beautiful complimentary breakfast was superb! -

It was the last stop before we hit Ontario closer to home. The room was very clean, the staff very friendly and the early morning breakfast, excellent with a wide choice of menu, hot and cold. There are numerous shopping centers walking distance from the motel. Most important for us is that our cat Sabrina loved the cleaniness of the room and confirmed that we will be back next year.

architectural heritage.
Friendly, helpful staff all around, including room maid service. Relaxed but organized atmosphere. Doormen value-added service with 'touch of style'.
Terrific location near to the Lincoln Centre and Metropolitan Art Gallery.
Great variety of reasonably priced restaurants nearby including fine dining at the Nice Matin in the hotel itself to first rate sandwiches at the Amsterdam Deli across the street. E

I stayed in the King Terrace Suite, and it was FABULOUS. The room was beautifully decorated, the view from the large terrace was AMAZING, and the room was so cozy and spacious. The staff was amazing, friendly, and very accommodating. The in-house restaurant, Blue Ribbon Sushi, was absolutely and almost surprisingly delicious, and the ambience made the experience all the better. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and stylish, comfortable and spacious. The location in the LES of Manhattan is perfect, you can't ask for more!
