Loved my stay at the Coconut Waikiki! This hotel is such a great deal for Waikiki and the location is perfect - right on the canal so a little quieter than being right on the main strip. Decor looks just like the hotel photos - fresh and modern. Very comfy beds, was sad to leave them. All the reviews about the canal side being noisy are accurate -

I loved the cute decour, the room was well kept and clean. I know that people have made comments about the continental breakfast and so I was prepared for the worst but I honestly thought it was good. There may not be a lot of choice but it got me through the morning. Also considering that there was a kichenette in my room, I could always buy breakfast goods if I wanted more. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would stay here again. Close to lots of shopping and the beach. Eve

The hotel is along the canal and central to everything Waikiki plus the price is right! They upgraded us to a one bedroom even though we hadn't requested it. Nice. hotel is located right in the middle of Waikiki Beach. When you walk out

Ilima is a gem! The decor is absolutely vintage Hawaiian.... wood, tile, wicker, tropical prints, original local artwork, and pink all over. We had room 1507 and had an amazing view of the canal and mountains. It was perfect to wake up to this every morning, with a very big balcony seating area to have coffee and tea. The cleanliness of our room and efficiency of the maid services were excellent.
Comfort and size of room was excellent however the sofa bed was slightly unstable. Plenty of extra sheets, lightweight blankets and mattress were available. Maids would not only vacuum every second day, they also washed and dried all towels for us. The view we had on

Simple, clean. Unit needs updating but it is sufficient. Nice to have
the washer/dryer as I worked out alot and it was great being able to
wash clothes. A half block away is the running path along the canal
which was excellent. The building is very secure and you have free
parking which is key in Waikiki as this can be very expensive. There are
plenty of markets and coffee shops around and the beach is 3 blocks
away. If you don't rent a car the buses all stop just around the

Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean.
There were 14 of us with 7 teenagers travelling as a group and it suited us perfectly.

the location was central to everything we did. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.

Across from abc store and room had fridge so didn't have to go out

The pictures online did not do the hotel justice. I originally did not pick because it looked somewhat shady but when I arrived to HNL and saw what it looked like. I booked a reservation.

The front desk service was brilliant. Very customer focused and
extremely helpful. Christiann was great. There is a good sized pool that
is often lacking in more up market property. Great value for money and
handy for us to all amenities For a short term stay this property was
exactly what we wanted.
