hotel was clean, friendly, close to everything in the French Quarter, good breakfast, and beautiful courtyard.Our room was quiet (facing the courtyard), and beds were comfortable. liked the music in the courtyard and it was a nice oasis away from the madness of bur bon street, but close to the action if that is what you wanted -

The bar area was comfortable both for breakfast and sitting during the day and evening. Breakfast was a great bonus. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

We loved the Dauphine! It is close enough to Bourbon, without the noise
and other nonsense. We were given a room across the street from the main
hotel and it was absolutely lovely. A calm oasis compared to the madness

The May Bailey's bar Is the best one!!! I met someone called Nathaniel and I had the best time ever ,just regret I didn't ask for his e-mail because he forgot his glasses and I wish I can give them back to him ... The bartender Sarah is the best!!! And Dauphine hotel has it all to have a wonderfull staying at New Orleans!! Thank you ..also I must congratulate the security staff they are amazing too!!

The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive. We ate in the bistro the first night we arrived and were pleasantly surprised with the food

We really liked the location because we were close enough to walk a short distance to Bourbon Street but we were far enough away from all of the loud music and party goers that we could sit peacefully on our balcony and enjoy the sun and fun from a distance.

I liked the fact that the hotel was very well maintained and quiet although it was located very close to the busy section of the French Quarter, which I also liked. I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean. The Decor

Since there was no room at the time of arrival--we left luggage and when we returned we were given a first class room at our regular room price. this made up for any inconvenience of room not available at time of arrival. Great location for enjoying the French quarter yet getting some sleep. East side of the French Quarter, one block from Bourbon St. Easy access to the city streetcar system. Busy staff try very hard to service the guests and succeed if you are patient. Lots of art and antique shops down Royal St. from hotel.

I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast.
