  The hostel made solo traveller feels at ease. It is near the metro station and make the travelling easier. The hostel staff is friendly. Staying in the shared room in the hostel was overall a pleasant experience as this was my first time. It's more economical.

  We really liked the Belnord's location. It is in a quiet street close to Central Park, in the Upper West Side. It is only one block away from the subway station where Line 3 takes you all the way to Lower Manhattan without changing trains. The hotel room is small and the bathroom is really very compact, but that is the norm in New York. The staff were helpful and efficient although not over - the area is fantastic, not far from the subway, so easy to get to where the action is, but quiet enough to get some rest. there is a good shop near by that you can grab some food and drink from, a Starbucks 2 minutes walk away and a big daddy's diner down the road which was grand (especially if you like pancakes).   Great little quiet hotel for the inexpensive price. My 3 friends and I from California all stayed here together, we had two rooms with a connecting bathroom and it worked out perfect. I had read that people had problems with the shower changing from hot to cold which I didn't experience but my friends did. We all laughed about it as it was no big ... ce que les gens disent » deal. Before deciding on the hotel I read some review where people complained about funny smells in the hallway that we did not experience on our flo - We were 3 friends staying at the hotel who had 2 bedrooms with adjoining bathroom which always had hot water. We each got a bed as there is a pullout bed which was just as comfy as the single bed. There was also a double bed with wardrobes and hangers. The room was spotless and we had our towels changed and beds made every day. As everyone else says, the location was the best part; just a few mins walk from Central Park in a very safe and fairly well-to-do area, so as girls we felt comforta

  The location was excellent. the front desk starting with Christian, he always explianed how to get to our destination and he even wrote directions and marked on the map. i needed an extra room and he was always accomodating. Joshua, he was always nice with my parents especially speaking spanish to them as they were senior citizens, I was picking on... ce que les gens disent » him calling him Jacobs and still never complained. Thomas, he was also able to take care of my parents and he never hesitated to make our stay memora - We enjoyed our stay ,Staff was friendly & very accomodating,Bed was extremely comfortable ..& there were no surprises..The room was exactly what it said.. yes it was small ,but we were aware of that when we booked..For a room in this area we definately got what we needed at a resonable price...we had a great trip..& we would stay there again....
