  We had a nice welcome at the check in counter and as I asked for a quiet room, the nice lady gave us a room facing the pool ont the second floor so that we wouldn't be annoyed by the trucks starting very early in the morning. The rooms are really modern and freshly renovated, not a usual motel stile. It was clean and decor was very nice for a motel 6. Staff was friendly, and the pool was a nice bonus, although it was to cold to get in. Early check was nice(1pm).

  Fabulous location for one night stop along Highway 1. It was dark when we arrived, so waking up to a gorgeous ocean view was worth the stay on its own. Continental breakfast offerings were average (extra points for fresh fruit!) but elevated to excellent experience when enjoyed outside right by the beach. Clean and quiet rooms (the sound of waves ... ce que les gens disent » blocks other noise?), smooth check-in/check-out. Felt like a safe place to stay. - The fact that Dan called us when we were more or less lost looking for the Cliff House and "talked us in" with excellent directions represents just how fantastic and caring the staff members really are. He even went the extra mile to help us locate a quality auto repairman when our vehicle's brakes had a problem. We will be back! Derral and Denise Lee

  The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean. I really liked how the staff handled the two hooker looking women that came in the hotel, they were asked to leave in a nice and professional way. Good job. - Pet friendly. Good breakfast.   The price was a little cheaper than Motel 6, so if you are all about price you will find it acceptable. My room was a very private corner unit on the upper level and did not have anyone above or to the sides of me. Friendly staff. Free coffee.   Kenny, the young man who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and nice, small room & bathroom, but a good for the amount we paid. - It was cheap and I got what I asked for unlike Motel 6 on State St in Santa Barbara
