This is the best low-cost hotel I've stayed at while traveling through Bishop. The rooms don't smell funky, and the rooms have everything you need, including a refrigerator and microwave. -
Very friendly and helpful staff. Basic but adequate room and breakfast for travellers. Nicely positioned in Bishop. Good value compared to others nearby.

This was a very quaint motel, well kept and quite homey. The woman at the front desk was warm and welcoming. There didn't seem to be masses to do in Bishop but it was just a stop over between Yosemite and Death Valley...for that, it was perfect. Big, clean bed. WiFi in the room and free parking. The staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly.
We had our small dog with us and were told about areas where we could walk him and even about a local dog park.
I would say the rooms are fairly standard for this type of hotel, but the location is good and we needed a dog friendly establishment.

I found Creekside exceeded my expectations in every way. Micah began the wonderful experience - took charge and took care of everything - what a nice gentleman. Breakfast is acceptable although I was disappointed that they did away with waffle machine(s). Soup in afternoon is great idea but the soup could have been warmer and they need to have "real" soup spoons those little plastice things are almost as ineffective as trying to eat soup with chop sticks. They (staff) are very accommadating and helpful. Lobby is a highlight. Good location in terms of being able to walk to eateries.

Very clean...basic done well...no frills but for the things that count - cleanliness, good mattress, good shower, quiet, safe, across street from Denny's and good pizza joint just up the street...Starbucks a couple businesses south of the hotel...great way to come down from Yosemite. Rooms were very neat, lady at the front desk was very helpful. There was a E Clampus Vitus-gathering going on at the time with a lot of noise and music, but that didn't bother us. -
Very warm welcome. Because the motel is set back a block from the main road the place is much quieter than all the competition.

That was the best motel out of 15 we stayed in during our trip through the USA. I sent an e-mail to the motel in advance saying we would be late checking in, and got a reply that they will put our key into the box, wishing us pleasant stay, etc. We happened to arrive not too late though, and the manager was still in the office, and when I explaine

This is a small, older hotel from the heyday of the car travel era that has been kept up very nicely. The staff was very friendly, the amenities better than expected for the unbelievably low price. There are many mature, large canopied trees on the grounds which provide amazing shade in the warm months, along with lots of grass and an outdoor seating/BBQ area.
