I asked for a ground floor room when I booked. However, Jan contacted me almost straight away to say that there was no ground floor rooms and no lift, so my wife would have to go up a staircase. We loved everything about the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful and it was the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was clean, comfy and spacious enough for our dog. Although the hotel was full, there was no noise, in fact we thought it was quite empty. the car park is small but there is plenty of parking on the road next to the hotel. We will definitely return.

Friendly owner eager to help with any special requests I had (storage for a rental bike in my case as well as some smaller things), large comfortable rooms, cleaned well, close to bus stop (to go to Llandudno, Conwy and other nearby towns, every 12 minutes) and railway station (to go to other places, for arrival), places to shop nearby, a lot of options for breakfast

I was able to book the Coachhouse for just one night to facilitate a visit to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, which is great considering many self catering cottages impose a 3 nights minimum stay. The service provided was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and flexible. The location of the Coachhouse was perfect for access to the town and the zoo. -

The accommodation was excellent , close to the beach and many more spectacular natural beauty. In the kitchen you can find everything that you will need. The owners are very kind and nice people. Lovely place. Chris and Ian were wonderful, attentive hosts. The room was excellent, spacious and tastefully decorated. Chris even went out of his way to arrange cycle hire for us which saved time and was much appreciated. Thoroughly recommended. -

It is a lovely comfortable, spacious, friendly place to stay in Colwyn Bay with character. I had a back room with a nice view of the garden. All the rooms were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms nicely furnished and decorated. We were a group of friends who had not seen each other for a long time and we were wonderfully looked after. It is in a convenient location for visiting the area.

Our room was very spacious and had everything you could ask for. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. A truly wonderful place to stay.
