Attended for a wedding and everything went smoothly, the staff were so
warm and helpful. Food was brilliant and my partner who is a vegetarian
forgot to let them know. However they accommodated her quickly and you
wouldn't have ever known that they were not prepared for a veggie!

This was a lovely place in the countryside--the grounds were incredibly beautiful. The staff was attentive and friendly and we felt very much at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the chef's inventive fare which rivaled meals we experienced at much pricier city hotels. We would definitely go back.

19th hole hotel looks very average from outside but is impressive inside. Busy with the locals which is always a good sign.
Food was excellent value for money. Large portions of very tasty and well presented meals.
Did have to wait some time of food, due to small kitchen and plenty of people willing to wait for the meals.

We found the hotel to be very well located - close to Golf Course - and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed and quiet. Meals were of an acceptable standard and reasonably priced.

We only stayed for one night on our way North and arrived in a snow
storm. The next day everyone was so helpful, phoning ahead to check our

The rooms were beautiful and huge for what is sold as a standard room. The whole hotel and rooms are decorated well and the beds are very comfortable - we did not want to get up the next day to leave for our holiday!!
When we did drag ourselves from our rooms the breakfast had was lovely, what a selection, you would be hard pushed to complain. All 6 of us cannot wait to go back for the spa!

Ian, host of the House of Mark, went above and beyond what was expected of him. He is extremely helpful in every way and a bright and witty conversationalist, though I don't think he would have tried to engage us if we hadn't been open to it. We didn't see much of his wife June, co-host, but we enjoyed the benefit of her wonderful cooking. They accommodated our unusually restrictive diet in every way with style and grace.

i arrived earlier than expected check in time and yet they gave me a very warm welcome.
they looked after me as if i was part of their family during breakfast with all the guidance and warm talk, and wiwaited for me to arrive safe at nught. I literally felt as if i am visiting family.
the place was clean and everything was on time.

Warm welcome on arrival, and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was warm and the staff welcoming. The room was spotless with everything in good working order.The food in the restaurant was excellent with a good choice of evening meals. The Birnam Hotel provided my wife, son and I with comfortable
accommodation for a couple of nights while we explored and relaxed in
Dunkeld and it's surrounds during the October mid-term school break.
The hotel has a very Scottish traditional ambiance and the staff, on the
