  Nothing was a problem for them, all staff were fantastic When I arrived I asked if I could get some honey because I had a bit of a sore throat and the chap brought me a new and unopened jar, not a used jar as I had reasonably expected. The room was very well kitted out. We both wished that we had been able to stay an extra night. My Wife and I usually opt for main chain hotels but were so glad that we fo - Good room with large king-sized bed. In room facilities good and wireless internet worked well. Food in the restaurant was good and servings were generous. Reasonable wine by the bottle. Good full English breakfast as part of the room fee. Nice quiet room - no noise soticed from pub next door. Close to Lindisfarne (Holy Island) for a morning visit to fit the tide tables across the causeway.

  The warm welcome from Geoff, the friendly service and the banter in the bar from the locals. A great pub ideal to use a s a base for exploring the area. The menu in the restaurant was adequate and I would descried the accommodation as a very high standard of basic. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Attention to detail in the room was the best I have ever seen!! Most comfortable bed in a hotel ever. The food was superb and the service wonderful. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was wonderful. Would have liked to stay longer and would definately stay there again. Definate value for money.
