rooms and staff
food
The location was great, there is a complimentary shuttle bus to Clapham Junction station, you just have to book with reception. The room was superb. Staff extremely polite. the food in restaurant was gorgeous and we got 50% reduction if you buy two courses. the menu choice was great.
I thought the air conditioning in the restaurant was a little chilly, but that is a personal thing, it might be okay for others. The breakfast staff just need to keep on top of replenishing items when they are busy as there were a few times during breakfast where there were no bowls, butter, cutlery, on the whole the breakfast was lovely, the staff were trying their very best
We had a very short stay arrived at 1am and left at 10am, however we found location very convenient for attending a party in Vicerage Cresent
The whole experience was fantastic
The room and gadgets within it were everything you would need . The view was amazing
The 24 hour room service left a lot to be desired. After a trip to reception , eventually we was served with a disgusting excuse for a club sandwich . The phone call for room service seemed to be far to much trouble for the staff .
I requested the hotel made it a special stay for my girlfriend as it was her birthday and when we arrived there were petals all over tge floor to the bed and a nice birthday card from all the staff. Sge was very pleased so thabk you all so much for that.
Very clean, pretty close to public transit, energy conscious, innovative
Everything about the hotel was absolutely perfect except for the shuttle service. While I appreciate they have it, it wasn't as convenient as other hotels I have stayed as it had only 4 seats, was often booked more than an hour ahead of time, and it even forgot to pick us up one time.
Staff were excellent and very friendly. Upgraded to an apartment which was ideal.
Large, clean rooms
Dirty towels used for massage at the SPA
Room design fabulous wonderful bed Amazing bathroom Shuttle very helpful as location not served by tube
Eco room lighting abysmal Do something soon , it ruins the experience
The professionalism of all the staff. The customer service was second to none! It was clean, quiet, spacious and luxurious. Exceptionally good value for money.
Only one minor complaint: the lighting in the suite was not too user friendly. It was too dark. A very minor point, given all the positives.
Very clean room
Lighting was very poor in bathroom and nowhere else was there suitable lighting for make up or shaving
Modern, comfortable, helpful staff, easy check in/out, shuttle service.
Light switches had bad placement and confusing for quick easy use.
Location was great, food was good.
I didn't like the lighting in the room at all. It was far too dark (even with all the lights on!). For women having to get ready and do their makeup for example, it was a nightmare, couln'd see a thing!. There was no point in using the bathroom lighting, because we had had showers and it was too hot in there. Infact when all eight of us got together that evening, it was one of the first things we all commented on. Also, the stair well leading to our room was far too dark.
I had my hen do at hotel Rafayel and we had a fab time, right on the river, it was stunning! they could not have been more helpful. Brilliant hotel to stay at...
I always stay here when I am in London. The staff look after me very well and the rooms are lovely. This time I got upgraded to an apartment. The food is excellent and you can look out onto the river.
Nothing
A very smart hotel with its own parking which is a bonus in London. The rooms are very high tech and finished with excellent quality materials. Lovely view from our room over the Thames.
As in many hotels, the lighting (whilst lots of them) was fairly dull and tinged with yellow, including in the bathroom, which makes putting make up on very difficult! From a womans point of view, having something close to natural light is a real bonus.
Everything
Hotel looks verry good. I like it :) Staff friendly and helpfull.
The hotel is near heliport. Alot of noise. The shower was leaking.
The room was amazing. The bed was a full super king size mattress and not two smaller mattresses pushed together to make one bed (like so many other hotels have started to do) The whole room was luxurious especially the bathroom. The shower was brilliant and the bath had its own flat screen tv. We have stayed here before and will come again.
The staff was phenomenal. Every staff member than we came in contact with was superb!! The room size was fine. It was right on the bus line. Food was adequate. The price was terrific.
There was no privacy in the room as it overlooked the parking lot so you couldn't open the curtains and the lighting was very dim. The location was a bit farther out as well. Also my daughter emailed the hotel several times wanting to send us a bottle of champagne and they never responded to her until after our departure.
Fantastic location, the rooms where big and well appointed with everything you would need for a city stop over. The staff could not have been more friendly and did all they could to make my stay relaxing and enjoyable.
nothing, would stay they again without any hestitation
The hotel has several great Eco-friendly features, it's very luxurious and beautiful, and incredibly spacious, especially for the price, and the staff was fantastic.
Large room Spa bath Friendly staff
Isolated location Expensive food
I booked deluxe room and get uprgade to junior suite free of charge. Room was really huge with river view. Staff was very nice and helpfull.
Location is not ideal if you are flying from Heathrow airport. Poor and expencive brakfast.
Staff were really kind and good atmosphere
The food and atmosphere were very good. the staff were very attentive
Location Parking Great room Friendly & helpful staff Great bar & restaurant
Would have like a river view
the staff could not be more friendly and helpful
Enjoyed my stay there. Very friendly staff. Will go there again.
The hotel was spotless, the staff were incredibly helpful and the view from our room was lovely. The free shuttle service to Clapham Common was great and ran regularly. I'd definitely stay at Hotel Rayafel again.
Attentive hotel staff. Were kind and very accommodating when my wife suffered a medical emergency.
The view as well as the staff, spacious clean rooms
Location (not too bad if you have a car)
The hotel product is just stunning, a great place to stay with unecpected luxury. The east bank location is making it very quiet in a busiy city.
We had booked 2 double rooms for my husband & myself & 2 friends, we were upgraded to a 2 bed apt which was lovely. The hotel was super , the staff very obliging, shuttle was a great bonus. After returning late ( 2.30am) to the hotel & requesting a bottle of wine to the room they were very accomodating even though it was difficult for them. Will stay here again definately .
Didn't stay long enough
Friendly Staff, Spacious and clean rooms. Great facilities, nice spa. I have stayed here before and will stay again. Very nice hotel and great value for money.
Limited in room dining, poor TV interface. I stayed on the ground floor and it did feel a little bit like a shop window when the curtains were open.
Room superb Lots of gadgets Shuttle service Excellent Pleasant staff Hot stone massage Bathroom great Good value
Not the best views Language barrier uncomfortable AC faulty Location Spa small Lacked characture
Spacious room. Comfortable. Relaxing.
Spa was really small. No lockers that closed. No Sky Sports to watch the cricket. Shower not easy to use. Rooms overlooked from courtyard or other rooms so care had to be taken when dressing or blinds closed.
Almost everything really! Great hotel that is very clean and spacious. The use of space and low level lighting gives a luxury feel throughout and the shower was superb. 44 bus route nearby goes direct to central London. Friendly staff and excellent value for money compared with similar hotels nearby.
The TV in room had a limited number of channels and the interface was not great. The in room dinning choice was poor, only a few main meals that I dodn't fancy much.
I liked my room it was very nice relaxing.
There was no reception in the rooms
We had a junior suite and overlooking the water, lots of space, comfortable bed. Very friendly staff.
Location was not ideal, but it is by the water, it's quiet and very relaxed for city hotel
I was upgraded when I arrived and the staff were very helpful The location is great and the apartment overlooked the river - it really was a lovely view
Although I was upgraded, the apartment was starting to age and the corridors were being painted at the time. There were lots of aggressive posters up aimed at the residents but not what you want to see as a hotel guest
I have stayed before and have always had excellent service and the rooms are lovely. The bar is very nice and it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the vioews.
Left a small gift for our 25th Wedding Anniversary a very nice touch.
Could not turn off the air conditioning which meant we awoke with severe headaches and flu like symptoms
Room excellent size and great shower. Breakfast good too
Roof terrace. Complimentary taxi to Clapham act
Rooms were very small and didn't enjoy 'urban ' view. Mini bar prices
The spacious room was presented to a high standard. The staff were efficient. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The views were great. Great shuttle service to Clapham Junction Station
The price for parking was a little high, so I managed to park for free in the side roads opposite the hotel.
Absolutely loved the suite room we had and the view was fabulous over the river. Bed was comfy, loads of space. Bathroom was luxurious. All mod cons. Was fabulous.
Breakfast wasn't the best and was expensive. Pillows.
Spacious & clean. Well equipped. Good bus route to Victoria from outside the hotel. Easy check in/out
