Everything - just what we needed for our London base for a short visit, and would be happy to stay again.
I stayed 2 nights in this new Hotel with new and modern rooms, just in front of Natural History Museum, 7 minutes from metro station.
The staff was really kind, my room (in the basement floor) had a very bad odor (coming from the pipes of the toilet) so after my complaint I was moved to another room (unfortunately just the day after) and they offered me the breakfast.
Room in the basement (level 1 as it is called) don't have windows and are at bad odor risk.
Rooms are very very small, especially the single ones.
Walls between rooms are really thin, you can here everything your neighbors do.
Patisserie of breakfast was not really fresh.
friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, great location
My neice and I wanted to visit the V & A so location perfect. Staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Hotel standard very good. I have already recommended it to others and would return in the future.
politeness of reception staff
Well positioned for the tube stations. not far from the Royal Albert Hall which was our main reason for going, also close for the museums.
We also found some descent places to eat all in walking distance of the hotel.
We had a twin room which was very nice but would have been better if it could have been a bit bigger.
Clean, friendly and good location
Great location - hotel was comfortable
excellent choice for breakfast, very friendly and helpfull staff. put things right very quickly.(hair dryer didnt work)
pillows very uncomfortable as i think made of memory foam so not moldable. very irritating interruptions on tv screen to inform of breakfast delays. room lovely and spacious but a horrible battleship grey. wouldnt be good to stay for a week in case you suffer from depression. why are modern hotels using these gloomy colours- shame
The hotel was close to where we wanted to be, i.e the museums and Royal Albert hall. Nice room with comfy beds. I would definitely book here again as it was very good value.
The en suite shower room was very small but OK, walls were a bit thin so very reliant on fellow guests to keep the noise down, which they mostly did.
Very clean, compact and comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast.
Broken pop-up bath plug so couldn't use.
Location excellent, for RAH, V&A, underground, restaurants etc
Friendly helpful staff
Modern clean hotel
Rooms very small
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, functional and modern. Location provides ideal access to museums and the Royal Albert Hall.
No separate bar area . Twin room was very small with end to end beds.
Great location, brilliant value, clean, well equipped, what more could you need for an overnight stay.
Room was a little pokey, in the basement, but I booked 3 hours before I turned up, so that might be why!
Ideally located for The Royal Albert Hall, as well as a short walk from the nearest tube stations.
The location was fantastic, great value for money and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend and intend to use this hotel in the future.
We had a really good family room, with a great sized bathroom, excellent value for money well positioned for the sites of London, staff very friendly.
The location within easy walking distance from both Gloucester Road tube station and the wonderful Victoria and Albert Museum.
The hotel location marked on the Metro map was totally wrong and had us walking about 1.5 km out of our way with our luggage and a London days travel. Hotel reception wiped their hands of the problem and were not interested in informing the Metro. Other maps were also incorrect.
No nonsense feel; quiet - no running along corridors; excellent location; comfy beds
Very compact - didn't spend much time in the room, but the sink in the bathroom is verging on ridiculous
Modern look, nice position near the museums area and metropolitan trains
Small room. Anyway it's avarege for the London hotel standard
Bed too small for 2 persons
not enough room space
My single room was small but perfectly formed! Nice and modern. Good T.V. and shower room.
Doors have to be slammed to close. Creates noise which can wake one up. Also, the towel rail is the shower room is placed so high up I couldn't reach the bath towel! I am 5ft. 2ins.
good value for money
rooms were too small
The Eden Plaza Hotel is in a good location for The Royal Albert Hall & The Natural History, Science & V&A Museums.
The location was excellent for me as it is 5 minutes from the Royal Abert Hall and I was going to a concert there. Sid, the night receptionist, was extremely helpful in recommending local amenities.
I think a continental breakfast could have been included as I paid £99 for the room.
staff, location very good
small rooms and WC
As previous people have said the rooms are on the small side but I would defiantly stay again. It was very clean and comfortable. Also the towels were change every day. Great value for money.
Location was great, staff were very good
Room size was ridiculously small
Comfortable bed; I was upgraded to a 2-person room. Great location within easy walking distance of South Kensington museums. Helpful staff. Good price when prepaid.
Rather sluggish WiFi.
This is a simple, basic hotel that is very well situated and offers a straightforward value for money. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable and everything worked.
Room and bathroom effective functionality.
Relatively small for the same rate
location, design, accessibility, friendliness of staff, welcome, comfortable, clean and very quiet in such a busy area. You are also promised a discount on your next stay!!
location , near tube stations, and handy for wide range of shops
room was on corner of two busy roads got a lot of noise from traffic
The room and wc was always clean, wich is not easy to find in england. the room is not to big, but if you stay on a room with the number 6, you have a room biger than the others.
The breakfast is nice, and not expensive.
The staff is efficient, but not friendly
Everything. Most comfortable bed I have slept in at any hotel. Prime location. Friendly staff. Approachable owner who interacts with customers. Very very clean. Will be staying there again.
Proximity to transport, safe neighbourhood, breakfast was easy and adequate, room clean, staff helpful.
Clean, modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, wi-fi.
Rooms not sound proof enough. Noise from the outside and especially chatter from other rooms could be heard disdinctly.
clean room, friendly staff, good location.
when travelling with 3 person without small kids (me, my teenager daughter and my mother) it wasn't perfect situation to sleep all three in same bed (with only 2 blankets).
Location - value of money
The room area
The location in Kensington is great - close to a tube stop but also easily walking distance to Kensington and Hyde parks.
The room was small, but clean.
Good location. Clean.
Subway station close to the hotel has no (partial) elevator. If travel from airport to hotel by subway, be prepare to carry your luggage up 20+ steps of stair.
A comfortable stay for a couple with two teenage children.
Nothing, although we didn't eat breakfast there.
Location, Location, Location - close to Museums and tube (Circle and District Lines),
Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful fish tank in foyer.
Tiny, tiny rooms. Grubby carpet in bedrooms. Street noise from frequent emergency vehicles.
Excellent location and overall cleanliness.
We were upgraded to a triple room, so enjoyed extra space. I had heard that rooms are rather small, but ours was fine.
Clean, comfortable hotel in good location, handy to public transport and Kensington High Street - bus stop located outside hotel and Gloucester Road tube station a 5 minute walk. A little traffic noisy, but hey, welcome to London. Well priced for area. Would recommend.
Sewage smell in bathroom, not picked up by house cleaning but was reported to reception on check-out. Didn't report it whilst staying in room because if was broken pipe, would need major work and we were only staying 4 nights.
The staff were very efficient and welcoming. The hotel was agreeable and the room comfortable. The situation is first rate for visiting London with easy access to public transport and several good venues within walking distance. Prices are reasonable.
