  Our room (No.4) was very good, although it overlooked the side road we found it to be quiet. The bathroom was excellent and well stocked each day with essentials - shampoo and shower gel etc. The tea and coffee making facility was excellent and replenished every day. We were made to feel very welcome at breakfast time. Would definitely stay again B&B. - Lovely old pub and rooms are good sized and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good pub food although we missed out on the lamb shanks we had returned to the inn to eat again, as it was father's day and they had run out before we arrived. Will make sure we order when we book next time!

  We enjoyed our stay at Ael y Bryn. Very nice staff and host, wonderful breakfast, beautiful room with an adorable balcony with an outstanding view of Cardigan Bay. Lovely lounge and nice pub on premises.   The staff were extremely accommodating. The whole hotel was comforting and quaint which made for a relaxing stay. The hotel was extremely easy to find. The location of the hotel was brilliant - easy access to beaches, mountains, shops, pubs, restaurants ect. The food was lovely. Our bedroom was clean with sweet, farm-house style decor.   We were very warmly welcomed by the owners. Our room was small and not very sound proof, but the other guests were very considerate and we slept very well indeed. I enjoyed sharing breakfast around a big table and chatting to the other guests and the owners. Breakfast was excellent. I tried the pool, which is very large compared to most rural hotels, and there was plenty - Sally and Tim are fantastic hosts and make sure your stay is as perfect as possible. The place is spotless and little extra touches like chocolates in the room and bottled water in the fridge add to the homely feel. The location between Barmouth and Harlech, overlooking the sea and within easy driving distance of many fabulous sites and monuments made for a wonderful break. Just what we wanted.
