  The staff was very friendly and polite. We had such a warm welcome. We could leave our luggage even though we could not check in untill 2. Also when we had already checked out in the morning we were allowed to take our lunch in the garden and pick up our luggage in the evening. The facilities are great. The shared bathroom was perfectly clean, and nice clean towels were provided every day. The beds are - The location was excellent as it was near the British Museum and shopping streets of Oxford and Totterham. The receptionist Roger is very good in his job and in giving advise. I do the same job so I know what is expected.The Arran Hotel is a small place but has a great heart. Breakfast was tasty and grand. The bathroom/ rooms were very clean. I found the hotel to be in a great location. A great recommendation.

  Already stayed here before and consider as a perfect option for a short stay. Location in Goodge Street Tube station area is very lovely, lots of various pubs and restaurants to go out asa well as supermarkets and night shops to buy whatever you need. Perfectly efficient in giving you the keys and your luggage on the last day in case you travel late. Very small bedrooms without ensuite bathrooms but a nice big communal kitchen and eating room plus bathrooms and small kitchen at each floor. Vey convenient and economical to cook your own meals if you want and the house provide eggs, cheese, milk , ham and fruit juices in an 24h open access fridge but also little empty fridges for personal items in each floor.   I chose to stay in an apartment instead of using a hotel because of being able to cook for myself. The apartment was compact and well equipped. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a compact kitchenette/cupboard system with sink, fridge, toaster, microwave and a portable ceramic hob ring so I was able to make a simple bre... ce que les gens disent » akfast. I would however find it a bit more challenging to cook anything too grand. Overall I was very happy with to apartment and would spouse them ag - Firstly, the accomodation was right off two main tube stops which was extremely handy in terms of getting there. Upon arrival, the staff were extra friendly and helpful as we arrived a couple of hours before check in (they held our luggage). The apartment was spacious, ultra clean and fit for purpose. When checking out the staff kindly agreed tp extend our checkout time (10am) by 2 hours which was a godsend.

  The check-in worked really well, despite there being no on-site staff. The management worked hard contacting us before check-in to make sure we understood how things would work. As a result, it was very simple. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and was very well appointed with modern fittings and comfortable furniture. Walking distance to oxford street and also the Charlotte street where full with resto. The service was fantastic especially responding our email queries. The apartment also called overseas to confirm our stay before our departure which we were very impressed by the extra miles service.will definitely recommend to the rest! We had a good stay at this scala house- penthouse at Tottenham street !!!!

  The hotel is super clean, both rooms and shared bathrooms. It has a beautiful green terrace and nice breakfast. Very close to metro station and the center of London. Staff is very kind, they allowed us to leave our staff in the hotel before check-in and after check-out free of charge. The room was clean and tidy, perfect for just 1 nights stay without spending ridiculous amounts of money for somewhere in central London. Easy to get to London Underground, literally a 5 minute walk to Euston/Euston Square. For the price, I can't complain. Pretty much luxury for a hostel! Definitely will be using the place again.
