Rob and Vicky made us feel welcome from the minute we made the booking, they were able to provide information that made our travel arrangements work better. It was no problem for them to allow us to arrive mid morning, Rod showed us a map of the city and was able to provide useful local knowledge throughout the whole of our stay. On our departure

Unlike the other guest houses I looked into, the room I booked was the
room I had. It was very roomy and comfortable. The staff was very
friendly and accommodating. I inquired via email about a room refrigerator-
even though Valentine's didn't have one, I was told when I
arrived that my suggestion was taken and some were ordered
(unfortunately the company couldn't deliver it for my visit). Also,
I got a 2 page email with tourist suggestions after asking for some
suggestions. The breakfast was p

apartment was quite clean. It gets a great breeze with windows open.
There is a lot of storage space available. - We liked the builidng design, facilities, furnishings, kitchen and bathroom facilities and location. Handy for Princes Street, Usher Hall, theatres and cinemas, but quiet too. Shops and restaurants nearby. Secure basement parking on site. Comfortable beds. Nice views of castle to rear and canal basin from lounge. Communal lobby and lift were clean too.

Nice room, very comfortable single bed (maybe a bit small, my mum fell when she was rolling over) and very quiet.
Good breakfast with self serving coffe/tea, juice, cereal and yogurt. I had scrable eggs on toast, but you can get a full Scottish breakfast.
Staff very friendly. I'd like to stay longer to interact with them.
Definitely I'll came again.

Eveything, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was superb and the rooms were beautiful, once we had figured out where the twon centre was it was an easy walk an we throughly enjoyed our stay and will deffiantely return. - Staff were excellent. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfasts.

I arrived at a very unusual time. Whilst I didn't meet a member of staff the help I received over the phone was fantastic. This is a value for money hotel, which is what I wanted. To be honest I couldn't fault the place. They even contacted me after I'd stayed to let me know I'd forgotten something and offered to send on! Excellent value for

+ Quiet. Some people may not like the fact that there is minimum service, but for me it was perfect, as I like to do stuff myself

Great sized rooms in a lovely Scottish style. Lovely staff who made great full Scottish breakfast! It's not too far from the city centre, and very close to several good restaurants. -

lovely apartment, very homely and well run, good breakfast provided in the aprtment, very helpfull staff, good location, we have a 5 month old boy and we walked to most attractions including the castle, shops nearby including Tesco express for grabbing food for the aprtment but have resturants right on the canal by the aprtment if you prefer. I made several calls prior the trip to ensure that we could get a high chair and cot for our baby and the staff remembered me and were very friendly. - The apartment was fantastic, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was stocked with basic essentials. Parking was great too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definately use this apartment/hotel complex again.

Had the most amazing time. 9 of us stopped in the apartments. Anne, the owner couldn't have been nicer or helped us any more. The Apartments were ideal for our girly weekend away. Everything we needed was available. Thank you so much for an excellent weekend. -
