  Though art deco is not really my style, I chose it just because it was the only hotel in the city center with no serious negative guest reviews. And indeed, the hotel was perfect in all aspects: friendly staff, spacious and well equipped room, clean, great location and view at a very good price.   Well simply just loved the room we were given it was a great size compared with other friends room we had every up in our room for pre drinks before heading out it set the mood jsut right.   The hotel was small so we were checked in quickly and helped with the FREE car parking! The room was around the same standard as a premier inn with heated bathroom floors and a very comfy bed. The hotel itself looked like a converted house and the entrance and dining area were very homely looking. We were using this hotel as we had booked to do a ... ce que les gens disent » cocktail making class and have tapas at a nearby bar called Bar7, this was 5 mins walking and then we got a taxi into leeds town centre approx 2-3 min - A family hotel whose staff were amazingly helpful and attentive - even swapping us to a ground-floor room (due to a broken ankle) without needing to be asked and despite its being a family room rather than the twin we had booked! Delicious breakfast, with generous variety (both continental and cooked). Superb location for the universities - just across the road. Right on bus route for shopping or bus/coach/train stations. Yet a feeling of being in the country - "at home" in the country. Thank
