We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. We only booked an apartment as we couldn't find a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in. Would definately stay here again.Staff were friendly & helpfull. Easy walk to the castle & city centre.

Breakfast was good value - just over £8 for unlimited buffet (inc. cooked breakfast) and unlimited Costa coffee.
My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

I loved how clean it was and how it was just so close to everything, shopping centers, food places and the scenery. It was a little walk from the train station, but it was worth it. The hotel was in an excellent location, close to shopping area, surrounded by different places to eat, quite close to the castle and old town. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, included possibility to make coffee and tea, there was even a bottle opener attached to the table :) The bed was big and comfortable, bathroom large and clean, the breakfast was simple, but well worth its price. The location is fantastic, just 100 meters from Haymarket station and also easily accesible from the airport. Besides, the main attractions are also located within walking distance. No sweat!

The attention of the staff to make sure you were settled in.
The staff had put on the heating in the room in advance so it was lovely and warm.
I was leaving before breakfast started and they had laid out cereal and toast making facilities to use.
They have spent a lot of money on new carpets and upgrading bathrooms to make them clean and very fresh.
Very strong and secure wi-fi
Puts a lot of the big brands to shame

The hotel is friendly, clean and excellent value for money. It is situated a short walk from town, has some very good restaurants and pubs nearby and is a ten minute walk from an IMAX. The room was spectacular! Great services within the room, eg. Ironing board, hairdryer, bath, flat screen tv. Plus 24 hour reception and friendly staff! Great location only a 10/15 min walk to the city centre and Edinburgh station, while haymarket station is 5 mins away! Great bars, restaurants and cafes a few mins away! Great for a couples get away or a city break!

I like the brand new design for simplicity & comfort with excellent staff at the welcoming front desk. Every one at the check in or out counter has positive and helpful attitude towards guests from all over the world. Here I would like to pay special respect & thank them from the bottom of my heart. Eveything, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was superb and the rooms were beautiful, once we had figured out where the twon centre was it was an easy walk an we throughly enjoyed our stay and will deffiantely return. - Staff were excellent. Nice room, very comfortable single bed (maybe a bit small, my mum fell when she was rolling over) and very quiet.
Good breakfast with self serving coffe/tea, juice, cereal and yogurt. I had scrable eggs on toast, but you can get a full Scottish breakfast.
Staff very friendly. I'd like to stay longer to interact with them.
Definitely I'll came again.

We are a Spanish people living in Liverpool and we spent the weekend in this beautiful Guest House to visit Edinburgh. We went by car, so the free parking 24 hours was perfect for us( Its is situated right at the hotel), The most famous Edinburgh's points are in walking distance, no need for a car.
