Single mum travelling with 8yr old son. We booked this on price alone
not knowing what to expect, (£182 for oct half term one bed cottage)
but it was perfect. Location itself is between cookstown and Omagh, 15
miles to each. Good supermarkets at each town. One hr to Derry one and
half to Giants causeway. There are woodland walk just outside the
doorstep of the cottage, there is well priced food in the visitors
centre, but we only self catered so cant comment on quality etc. These
cottages were . tous commentaires »
The cottages have been renovated since the last time we stayed there a few years ago. We had a three bedroomed cottage (Copney) which also had three bathrooms, which was great for us as we also had friends from the US at the cottages with us. The cottage was really well equipped - the only thing we couldn't find that we needed was a garlic crusher but we improvised! - with spotlessly clean bedding and plenty of fluffy towels. The location was lovely and the weather was superb during our st.
It was a gorgeous cottage - very warm and cosy. Lovely setting and very welcoming staff who were very generous and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Excellent location and value for money.
Staff were great, facilities were good.
This is a small one bed cottage, so layout is not quite as it would be
in a more genourously sized living room. Small tv, we pulled it out from
corner. We missed a hoover, although sweeping brush was fine for the
flagged floor, the rug needed hoovering after second day. Need more
baking trays, we had to manage with the grill tray alone which wasnt
really adequate, so it was a bit of a juggle. Frying pans were terrible
and need replacing (bring your own, I will next time!).
We initially had a bit of trouble with the electric showers, but this was more to do with us not setting them correctly - after that, they worked perfectly!.
letsbookhotel.com overcharged me!!! Cottage could have done with a clean and the tv was a bit small but overall was very good.
