Ce que les gens disent
We knew the distance hotel was from main tourist areas like Windermere. The hotel is down a long quiet country lane. The breakfast was "spot on". Thank you for your service. The bar is popular with other holiday makers i.e caravan and lodges and the price of the drinks were reasonable. The room was comfortable.
We booked a chalet and it was having everything whatever we needed like utensils and electrical appliances. Location was peaceful, serene and lush green. Staff was friendly. We had best time overall. Recommended for all those who want a calm and quiet vacation with your loved one.tous commentaires »
The place was breathtaking! The lodges are stunning and inside they are just perfect. the spa bath and sauna room were an added bonus.
You also have lots of outdoor garden space and the pub on the grounds is really lovely.
The lodge we stayed we of very high standard. The sauna and spa bath was much appreciated, and the quality, layout and facilities within in the lodge were brilliant. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
we loved it here, the chalets are beautiful and my kids loved it. We only dined in the hotel on one occasion and it was really lovely home cooked food. We will be rebooking sometime next year.
The location was good for sea and lakes. The hotel was very comfortable with good sized, well decorated rooms, friendly staff and good food. The price was reasonable.
Beautiful lodge and exceptionally clean. Very spacious. Nice setting. Perfect if you don't want to go anywhere by foot and are happy to use car for all trips out.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Would definitely go again.
The hotel was lovely not a bad word to say - completely enjoyed every bit of our weekend at the woodlands lovely hotel and lovely staff.
The lodges were excellently equipped for self-catering + having the hotel next door where you could get a drink + a meal was very good.
It was a lovely hotel situated in beautiful surroundings and within travelling distance of all the lakes and surrounding areas.
Room nice and clean and spacious. Everyone very friendly and helpful. lovely eating area, not on top of each other.
staff very freindly and so helpful
Accomadation seems new and kept perfectly clean.
Surroundings very peaceful.
It was a last minute booking but really glad we went. Lovely location and really nice evening meals.
friendly efficient staff, clean comfortable room, good food, excellent location.
We went for the relaxation, not intending travelling around.Ideal for that.
Excellent service, food and drink. Great value for money.
Great location.
Full kitchenette
Clean furniture
Friendly staffs.
Very secluded location. Great location.
Food.
Refurbished room was pleasant and comfortable.
Plenty parking near the room.
Woodland setting looked good.
Breakfast staff immediately replaced croissants when we said they were a bit stale.
Charge for breakfast was waived.
Saw a badger in the grounds.
The room was clean, tidy and well presented.
Very quiet, nice sized room.
The setting, the cleanliness.
it was very good weekend.
I am sorry to be negative but the mattress was very hard and caused us restless sleep etc.
Also I picked this hotel because it had a bath and I told the management the plug in bath would not work but you did not fix it for me.Saying that, yes I would recommend this hotel as other people would not see these as a problem.
the ONLY downside if any is that the gardeners seemed to come out every other morning to prefect the already mowed lawns. This caused lots of noise and seemed to take forever! -and seemed a bit pointless.
Can't think of anything we didn't like.
Unable to walk to village as roads too dangerous with pram so fully reliant on a car to do anything.
Double bed mattress needs replacing as uncomfortable.
Noise from the bar makes the room a little noisy in the evenings.
You needed a taxi to get to any pubs etc as nothing really walking distance.
no safety means in the shower.Would like to have had bars on the walls.
The weather.
No washing machine.
Noisy water heater. Only one sausage for breakfast.
Loud noise and singing heard coming from the bar past midnight on both nights we stayed. Made sleeping difficult.
Narrow window of availability for breakfast: 9 a.m +/- 15 minutes.
Uninspiring breakfast menu - tinned fruit, boxes of cereal, croissants not fresh.
The staff were aware that the electricity supply was going to be turned
off, however they did not let the guests know in advance. Resulting in
showers and breakfast's being effected.
The hotel advertised wi fi but in actual fact it was limited, very
limited, in fact no access at all even in the reception or bar area.
Called to the lounge for a drink and got a dirty glass, disappointed!.
No hot water for shower. Uncomfortable bed.
