The Hotel is a real gem and is a credit to Doreen who gives attention to detail , lovely white fluffy towels immaculate rooms a real Home that is warm and relaxed good location two sets of keys no silly rules and good quality food , Doreen is on hand to help . we would all love to stay at the Star villa again so will be booking again soon.Perfect time to stay with the Christmas markets on with plenty to do 2 days were not enough and would have gone for longer if we could.

Great host and beautiful surroundings :). The Star Villa Bed and Breakfast is a great place to stay while you are in Edinburgh. You are 10 minutes of walk from Princess Street or the castle. The room is very comfortable, the breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly. Good location easy walk into main centre. Clean & Doreen is a very friendly manager. Comfortable bed & pillows.
