The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The premises, including the shared bathroom, were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast choice quite extensive. Breakfast itself was of high quality. Internet was fast. The location is also pretty good, about 10-15 minute walk from the Castle and Princes Street (and the airport bus line). It is about 300 meters away from a major street (Leven St.), which is lively and has lots of shops, restaurants, movie theaters and is on several bus lines.

The owner was exceptionally friendly, obliging and helpful. The food and cooking was excellent. The location near Tollcross and the canal, with free parking was ideal for me. It had a high standard of cleanliness
