Rooms are excellent value for the money and I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of cleanliness. Beds are warm and comfortable. Rooms on the ground floor along corridor behind the front desk seem to be in a quiet position, with no evidence of noise from other areas. As we walked in the young lady on the reception was very polite and
helpful the position of the hotel was excellent there is no parking but
we parked in the st davids centre directly opposite the hotel and were
there for 20hrs and it only cost £11 if you dont want to take your car
the train station is only a 5 minute walk the room was really nice and
facilities were very good already planing another stay at the ibis
would reccomend value for money especially as it was only a 2 minute
walk into

The staff were excellent, very friendly and great service. We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system. It was remedied with no fuss or problem

Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet
sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of
being able to open the window for extra ventilation. The tea/coffee-

The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

We had an amazing stay. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The hotel is very well located, just a ten minutes walk away from Cardiff city centre. Lots of restaurants and amenities close by. The hosts, James and Maria were most hospitable and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, very comfortable and very quiet. The included continental breakfast was varied and excellent quality and the optional hot breakfast was delicious. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff. There are a number of restaurants within a five minute walk that cater for all types of food. We will be staying here again if next in

Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. Would heartily recommend.

I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Stayed in an apartment not hotel. Ideally situated, great value and extremely clean and comfortable. Will definitely return. Beautiful house, with loads of space, that was perfect for our weekend away. With the sofa bed and camp bed we managed to sleep 10 comfortably.
The outside space is fantastic for lounging in the sun.
The location is brilliant, with Cardiff city centre around 15 minutes away, and some nice pubs nearby.
Had no problem with parking outside the house.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom house, its beautifully designed and welcoming. Finished to a very high standard. It's not as small as a previous review would imply; 4 of us stayed there and we hosted a small afternoon party for a total of 9 adults quite comfortably.

The bed was big enough, all housekeeping staff were respecting our privacy. We have seen that the room was tidy and new towels were given every day, but all of our personal staff was exactly where we left it.

Everything.i always stay at this hotel.always a welcome here.and I have been visiting Cardiff for years for the Wales rugby tournaments.within easy walking distance to the city centre.and easy reach to the millennium stadium.would deffinately recommend from the vast experiences I have had from the numerous stays I have had here.

Room was a good size and felt spacious. The bed was comfortable.
Bathroom has a shower but no bath, but the shower worked well with good
temperature control and water pressure. Tv and remote worked well and
all the controls functioned well.Wif-fi is free and worked well too. The
lighting in the room was good, and the desk was just large enough to
work on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for just
£7.95 all- in.
