Everything was very good, the room was very clean, the hotel is
beautiful, they have cofee facilities inside the room...
If you have heavy baggages, will be very difficult To go upstairs
(don't have elevators and have 3 floor) and the room is a little
small, but normally to Europe
The staff were great, breakfast was great, rooms were comfortable, great location.
great room and friendly staff!
good location for the b.i.c.
Extremely staff, clean, within walking distance to BIC. Excellent breakfast.
In room top floor a lot of stairs. Ensuite small but very clean,
the foam matress, the large room, the pile of milk for tea/coffee,the clean room, location of hotel
no shaver socket in room, brought my own adapter, th e sighting of the tv
Great value for a Budget room. Parking is the only negative. Parking in a local car park could cost 20 GBP
Proximity to Poole ferry terminal. Friendly and helpful owners/managers.
Surrounding Bournemouth neighborhood. Lack of a car park. One needs to park in a city car park that is some distance from the hotel or try to find a place on the street. This was our least favorite location for our three weeks in Britain and France.
Friendly owners spotless and great value
Everything was perfect. Very good location, just a minute walking from the city center and the beach. Room was very comfortable. The owners are very nice and helpful and make you feel like if you were at home. The breakfast was awesome every morning, very tasty and homemade food. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience i had at Croydon Hotel.
Very clean rooms
Very friendly owners
Great value for money
The proprietors of the hotel were such a lovely couple & made my daughter & I very welcome. The breakfast was very nice & when the remote for the tv did'nt work, they were more than happy to sort it out straight away.
The noise outside in the early hours of the morning!
Very comfortable warm welcoming hotel. Would stay again
Had to have breakfast early or go out to local pub using voucher but not really a dislike. We just would have liked to have tasted the home made brekkie as it smelt delicious but due to late night it was too early for us
Very friendly owners, clean, freshly cooked breakfast. The location is very close the beach.
I liked the feel of a proper, traditional family-run B&B.
Car parking could be difficult, but I was lucky to find a space fairly close by.
Also, the stairs are somewhat steep!
Friendly staff, good location, excellent brekkie, clean and well presented.
Friendly owners, clean, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, location very convenient to town, beach, bars & restaurants.
Bathroom a bit small, but who spends much time in there? Not an issue.
Peter was charming and friendly and very accommodating. He was very helpful with any query and made me feel at home which is just what you need when you so far away from home.
Excellent hotel, the couple that owned the hotel, were really friendly and also provided breakfast which although it was basic, it was really fresh. Best hotel I ever stayed in the UK at this category. Would definitely recommend it. 10 min drive from Bournemouth train station.
The owners are lovely people and very friendly. A couple of times I
needed their assistance and they always responded in a very friendly and
I would recommend the hotel to every young couple or a young family, planning their trip to Bournemouth.
Really accommodating staff.
Pete and sandra wonderful hosts. Very clean room and nice and quiet. Handy for shops and restaurants. Breakfast brilliant. Will stay again
Owners were very helpful and friendly.
Reasonably good position for the BIC.
Found me a parking space for the night.
At the end if the day it was a room for one night to sleep after going to a concert at the BIC, so all in all it was a good experience.
Thanks to the owners.
Room on top floor, stairs a bit steep, especially at our age.
Parking a problem.
Good location and room rate.
Decent cooked breakfast to order included.
The breakfast was good.Close to beach and shops Peter & Sandra Excellent hosts
7 of us, all girls, stayed at the Croydon hotel as we were in Bournemouth celebrating a birthday for the weekend. Everything was perfect, we were made to feel welcome and well looked after. We didn't make breakfast on the first morning but were given a voucher to have breakfast at the local pub which we thought was a great idea! Rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. We can't say thankyou enough! Highly recommended and will defonately go back. Thankyou from 7 happy girls!
Nothing to not like!
Everything excellent. Hosts very friendly. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast fantastic and freshly cooked. Location Fab!!!
Very welcoming hosts. Great home cooked breakfast. Spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed and plentiful supply of tea and coffee in the room. Fresh laundry each morning. Everything good to excellent!
Great central location ideally situated for all the town has to offer.
Peter & Sandra could not have been more helpful.
They gave us a room upgrade at no extra cost.
Peter helped me find a parking spot - very useful as parking in the area is at a premium!
Sadly the shower although having an adequate and constant flow rate kept running between cold and scalding
me an my husband enjoyed everything about staying here, the bed was so comfy and the breakfast was yummy
Location, very friendly and value for money
A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Peter and Sandra were the most welcoming and helpful hosts and made us feel very comfortable. The room wa spotlessly clean and had everything you would expect for a standard room. Comfortable bed, shower room ensure, tv, tea and coffee facilities and a few extra touches such as cotton pads, shower gels and shampoos. Brilliant location as didn't use the car our entire stay
Parking was directly outside the hotel, but we did find a roadside space without too much trouble.
Lovely couple that own the hotel. They help with everything they can and are very friendly. It's very close to everything we wanted to see in Bournemouth, and the beds were very comfy.
Groups of people using the showers one after another makes the water go cold, but this isn't so bad if there's a gap between the showers.
Very Friendly owners
The Hotel was welcoming and the owners were just lovely! The price (£60
for a Saturday night) was great, especially as it is so close to town.
The room we had was a great size, clean and well decorated. Shampoo,
conditioner, soap and cotton pads were a nice added extra. The bed was
The parking was very tight as it is on road parking with hotels and
residents surrounding. There is a council carpark close by which is £8
per 24 hours.
No toothpaste and we forgot ours :(
The owners are so welcoming and it is very very clean breakfast excellent
Nothing to dislike really :-)
The room was comfortable and had a nice view down the road so you were able to see the sea.
Breakfast was very good and filling, many selections of cereal to choose from as well as hot breakfast served to you.
The building was under renovation at the time so breakfast was situated downstairs in the lower ground floor in a small room.
The bathroom was not particulary clean after the last guests. This could have been improved.
room was clean .hotel near to beach shops.BIC. which was reason for trip
parking was difficult .although roadside parking was free no spaces. had to park away from hotel paid £10in another hotel car park. dining area too small for amount of guests
Good homely hotel nice room would go again
Wish we had a chair in room, parking not easy
easy to get to the seafront
television was too small.
Friendly owners, good breakfast.
Bed not very comfortable. Difficult parking.
