  Booked through letsbookhotel.com but on arrival we found out that letsbookhotel.com did not forward our details and therefore found that there were no rooms available. The owner and manager went out of his way to find us a local B&B for the first night and luckily had a delux room available for our second night. After many visit`s to the Lake`s Hazel Bank hotel has been the best. We will be visiting again soon. 10 out of 10 great stay

  This was a really beautiful hotel. Easy to find, plenty of parking and in beautiful surroundings. The garden was particular lovely, as was the quality of the food (we ate off the bar menu and it was very high quality). Beds were super comfortable and rooms blended together the modern and old perfectly. The hotel has a lovely feel to it. We wou... ce que les gens disent » ld definitely stay again if we were back in that area, and that's saying a lot as we are the sorts of people who usually like to try new places often. - I love the fact that my husband and I can relax. We love the location. We love everything about the hotel and I feel that we will become regulars. we both have very stressful jobs and we work 13 hours most days. we like the fact that nobody can contact us on our phones. There is no guilt factor about work. It is peaceful unlike London.

  We stayed for one night with our three children (aged 9, 7 and 5). The location is wonderful with views over Derwent Water. We had not stayed in a Youth Hostel before but it really suited us and we would definately consider going back. The children enjoyed the pool table and table tennis table. We had a family room with two bunks and a single bed. - This is a fantastic place to stay in a perfect location. We travelled to Keswick by train and bus then walked to the hostel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful Food was good value, very tasty and plentiful. Liked having a proper sheet, pillow case and clean duvet cover. Self catering provision was excellent. Great facilities for children (table tennis, pool, games). Loved my stay.

  Everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both at the hotel and the Lake District itself. The location was lovely, the staff and food were excellent and our room was better than we imagined. We didnt want to go home! Well worth the money we`d paid. All in all we had a delightful three days half board - we would have been fed up not to have booked in for dinner! The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made the stay for us.

  extremely well run hotel.Central for lots of activities.Lovely food and our dog was most welcome.Never been able to park so near our room. - The hotel is situated in an excellent location for walking etc. Scafell hotel is v comfortable and all that was expected/hoped for.

  The journey north was oh so slow but the warden was quite happy for us to arrive after closing time, which was a great relief and we had a room to ourselves (two of us) so we could continue packing for the weekend. Breakfast was great! with lovely hot porrage and lots more unexpected treats. Plenty of parking. Everything was clean and comfortable. - Very clean - excellent!!! Nice bar area and good breakfast! Very good value!!! We had sleeping bags, but bedding is in rooms - so no needed! We stayed first time in UK`s yha Hostel and we were worrying about atmosphere comparing to our polish hostels but really enjoyed!!! Lovely !!! We`ll be using yha Hostels before book any hotels from now!!!
