Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable. Enjoyed using the DVD selection and being able to park on the hotel forecourt. - Good location, very clean, high quality furnishings, ensuite was excellent, thick fluffy towels and toiletries included. Very good choice at breakfast.

Well what can I say my Husband and I had the most amazing break at The Residence and the friendly staff made it so relaxing. The quality of the hotel is amazing and the food is absolutely fab!!! attraction. The 4 poster room we stayed in, was bright, clean, extremely
comfortable and had a aired of wealth about it. We had a great weekend
away and the hotel/owners played a strong part in this.

There was a cosy family feel to the hotel, with only 5 or 6 bedrooms and a very personal touch. We were offered a cup of tea in the garden when we first arrived, and breakfast was cooked to order and served in a family dining room with the other guests in the morning. The piano in the hallway was utilised by another guest and it was pleasant to hear in the morning while we were getting ready. The hotel is quaint and eccentric, which gives it some charm. Really friendly and helpful people. They left plenty of bottled water, fruit and nibbles for us. The two bedrooms are off a large kitchen which the owner can wander in and out of but that's fine as the bedrooms have locks. Fresh towels, sheets etc. We ate at the pub and the food is excellent although the choice is rather limited. Enjoyed the stay

were in room 1 which was lovely and light. It is a pub so isn't
the kind of thing you'd expect at a hotel, but the friendliness
and general atmosphere was much better than cold hotel. Our friends
stayed at travelodge and paid more and were very disappointed.
Breakfast was great, and I'd definitely stay again if back in

House very clean, large rooms, nice neutral décor, ample parking. We didn't meet the owner but communication was good - he phoned to check we had arrived and the property was to our satisfaction. We didn't get a chance to cook but the kitchen facilities seemed fine. We had the property to ourselves as we were renting all four of the bedrooms. -

There was plenty of room to relax and a good supply of hot water. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh flowers everywhere.
