Ok sized rooms. Dog friendly - no extra charge! Free breakfast!.
location convenient for A1.
Comfy bed.
At the back of the building, it was quiet and we slept well. Although not previously advertised, there was a basic continental breakfast included.
Its cheap.
Cheap.
The only problems i have was not with the hotel, was with the location, because i was not driving on the weekend, just when you need you car??,and i had two little
girls with me,how wanted to keep going in and out of the town, and one of those trip with a taxis is £20 plus.
Anyway i know for next time.
Thanks.

your description of this motel need s urgently updating as their is no cosy bar no Asian buffet and conference facillitys out of the way no hot water from the tap in bathroom sink unless you turn shower on.
No bar or any were to get food.
Very tired looking motel, formerly a Travel Lodge but really needs some more money spent on it! Not helped by the boarded up building on the forecourt.
Dated, noisy road, very simple breakfast (not 'continental' as advertised). Is no where near baldock so difficult to go out of hotel unless you have a car (meant no drinking with birthday meal for us...).
Dated, tired and worn out rooms.
Dirty bathroom, hairs in bath.
Dirty floor, dust & mess all clumped up on floor, not well maintained, doesn't seem looked after properly, breakfast right in the main door way of main entrance, not very practical! Receptionist just reading a newspaper as we wanted to check out and she said "yeah that's fine, just leave the key on the side".
No slip proof mats for shower/bath and rails to shower curtain was not fitted secrue.
We were told that this had recently been rebranded from a Travelodge. Unfortunately there seems to have been no restoration or even deep cleaning. As such it is shabby, dirty and somewhat smelly (cleaning fluid). It is located off the dual carriageway A1 but only accessible from one side and behind a derelict building. We only stayed here because other hotels in the area were full. We will not be back.
Its very scruffy and tired.
Dirty, run down, tired looking. Noisy. When was the last time a vacuum cleaner was used in the room? Bathroom was horrible. Shower took ages to get temperature right.
