Excellent venue in the countryside which we chose due to its location
very close to Luton airport prior to our break in Malta. We only wish we
had time to stay and enjoy the hospitality of the hosts ( excellent and

The room was tastefully decorated, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom has a relaxing view of the countryside.
The cottage is isolated, in a panoramic position: you can keep the curtains open without fear for your own privacy!
The breakfast is homemade, very good and plentiful, and the breakfast room is very nice, with tables for each group of guests. The person who greeted us - the landlady was on holiday those days - was welcoming and extremely polite. It's really colse to Hitchin, a nic

interior /rooms - immaculate. Location - very peaceful. 2-3 restaurants/public houses within walking distance. Staff were extremely helpful and supportive when a family member was ill. The local knowledge of the reception staff on arrival and the guidance given by phone, to find the hotel from LUTON AIRPORT was excellent - suprisingly noisy in the room facing the main road although we were a fair distance from the road and the road was only an A road .

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable.
Great location for visiting Whipsnade Zoo as we were still able to walk into Dunstable in the evening where there were several good pubs and restaurants.

I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

Everyone who staffed the hotel, the architectural and interior design, the Japanese influence seen through the selected artifacts and furniture all enriched the ambiance of St.Michael's Manor. The surrounding environment is beautiful. Just go and stay at this hotel. It is magnificent.

the hotel was amazing, the staff were so polite and helpful and lots of complimentary things ! eg rang up and offered us hot drinks upon arrival into the room! - It was of exceptional design, clean, staff we excellent and the rooms were spacious contemporary in design - it was fantastic for the price!!!!!
