  Made to feel very welcome by both the staff and the regular customers. The bed was big and comfy and the T.V in my room was exceptional,though be warned that this was the exception. The view of Runcorn bridge was amazing from my window and gave off no traffic noise.. - Both the staff and the locals are very friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and... ce que les gens disent » nicely decorated. The owner Brad is extremely nice making his guests feel important and relaxed.

  The location is ideal for the Birkenhead-Belfast ferry ( 5 mins). Also the Mersey tunnel. It is also directly opposite the train station into Liverpool. The hotel itself is an old building but i found it very clean with very helpful staff from reception to dining room. The food was very good,both evening dinner and a hearty breakfast. In summery a very good value for money. - EXcellent location, it is opposite Birkenhead Central station; I left a laptop charger in our room and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to recover it. Very convenient for the Mersey ferry and wartime German U-boat museum.
