Everything was good. Staff is helpful, everybody speaks English, one of them speaks Russian.Breakfast is smorgasbord. You can eat vegetables,fruits,cheeses,curd like Georgian matsoni,flakes,eggs,sausages etc. in any way you could not stay hungry.I live with my mum and she said that this hotel has great location. You never hear azan in the morning. Bedding was snow-white. Bathroom was clean. Next time I'll choose this hotel.

The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. Main tourist attractions were not that far from the hotel around 15min walk or 5-10min on the tram.

The Grand Washington hotel was located in an ideal location for exploring the city - walkable to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and other cultural sites.
