Having travelled all around Thailand for the last 15 years I had noticed the Ayara on the hill but only in passing during stays at other resorts. The resort manages to provide the excellent Thai service to a very high standard, without being to formal.

Brilliant stay. Hotel & spa is proper 5 star, staff are very
freindly and helpful. Rooms are great wih fantastic views. Breakfast
included up to 10:15 and was really good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk
to the beach strip, and the hotel came with free membership access to
the 2 best beach clubs on the beach strip (catch beach club and bimi
beach club). Free buggy service from the room to the reception or down
on to the beach and back. Hotel has free wifi as do the 2 beach clubs.

As a family traveling with a 15month old, the two bedroom apartment walking out to the pool (room 101) we hired was ideal.
Some of the rooms located closer to the carpark can be more noisy.
There are two beaches located nearby. Surin beach is the closer, and cleaner, whilst Bang Tao is a further walk. The latter beach has a better local flavor.

This Place is fantastic,, luxury at a very reasonable price. I was here for a friends wedding in The Surin and it was perfect. Our two bed apartment was spotlessly clean and had every thing we wanted or needed. Great staff and beautiful cheap food!

Our stay at the Chava was perfect from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport as promised with babyseat and on time. We were greeted by the manager which was a lovely touch. Our room had a baby cot as requested which was already set up. The room was perfect for our stay, the staff and surroundings were just great. In all in all great

Nice room and balcony for a really good price. Warm pools, long and deep enough to swim in. For being Phuket, I really enjoyed Surin Beach – not overcrowded and there were some nice beach restaurants (at least the one we went to, Catch Beach Club). The hotel is a 5 min walk from the beach, and down there you can find bars, chairs and massage.

We stay in one of the regular rooms. It was actually nicer than I expected, and quite large for a standard room. I was happy with our room but would recommend booking one of the rooms with pool access.

Penn villa was an excellent place to stay. The owners, Win and Peter,
work tirelessly and with good humour to make their guests stay
memorable. Win is a brilliant cook. She went out of her way to make
different food for our kids. Peter is a wealth of knowledge and fun to
have a chat with. Lovely swimming pool, well maintained. The staff do a
great job complementing the relaxed ambience Win and Peter have created.
