  The staff members went beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion to accommodate us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Facilities are basic however for the money you would be hard pushed to find somewhere as good as this place. Also taking the location into consideration, I don't believe more facilities would benefit the hostal much... ce que les gens disent » as it is situated so close to the city centre you will find yourself with so much to do on your doorstep you probably won't use the hostal for anythi - The Hostal is run by extreamly polite Indian gents and is in a perfect location for a city visit (only yards from the Ramblas). I saw reviews criticizing the wi-fi but I had a strong connection all holiday. We stayed in a double en-suite room and although basic, it was immaculatly clean, with beds made up each day and clean towels every 2 days. The bed was extreamly comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water in the shower. Great place to stay if you want a cheap holiday. ps. felt ver

  The staff there were extremely helpful, at arrival they gave us maps of Barcelona and a lot of tips of places to see, including many places not well known as tourist sites but turned out to be amazing! the Hostal was really clean and the room was cleaned everyday along with new towels. The staff were exceptional!! We travel a lot and I have never had such helpful friendly staff. The room we stayed in was small but the way they have designed the rooms they have been able to maximize the space and was very comfortable. The rooms are new and a beautiful modern design, comfortable beds, nice shower and great a/c! Everything about this place was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone!

  I felt very comfortable during my two days at Julian's. I just needed a bed and a shower so I booked the single room. Small but nice. Everything was new and clean. The metro station is right outside the door so you can get very quickly to the city center.
