  The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable.   The hotel had a lot of charm. It was clean (clean towels daily and beds changed during a 5 night stay), a great shower with plenty of very hot water, comfy beds and heating! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Although quite basic the breakfasts were fresh and plentiful. The position of the hotel just off La Rambla was superb. It's a great hotel for a group of friends on a short break - The location was brilliant! - just off La Ramblas, 2 minutes walk from the metro and 3 minutes walk from a Carrefour supermarket.   Nice clean hotel, close to all the action and the metro. Situated in a back lane, it was very quiet. There was an elevator from the first floor upwards. There was also a community refrigerator to keep things cold. Grocery store and breakfast was available close by on the street itself. The staff was very friendly and courteous.   Right in the middle of the Gothic district, we walked to most of the great sights in Barcelona! The room was very basic (clean, very firm bed and a clean bathroom with a great shower!) There was a lift and a nice entry area with a beverage vending machine. We had room 308 at the end of the hall. Friendly and helpful staff. I cannot fault this hotel and will book again. Highly recommended!!!

  The hostel is perfect deal comparing price and dwelling style. Room is a bit small, but for location in Barri Gotic you cannot ask for more space. Personnel is wonderful, everyone is very friendly, always smiling and helpful. Location is great, the heart of Barca never sleeps.   This hostel is situated on La Rambla - So bring earplugs or stay up late! It is also close to subway Drassanes and busses to the beach (59, 64). a typical spanish building, with too small staircases, tiled floor and french balconys. Friendly, serviceminded staff, even though they did not speak english. Safe for valuables in my room. Tv, a sink and... ce que les gens disent » also a small radiator for cold days.... Cleaning every day. 24 h reception. Only one shower on each floor, but I hardly saw any other guests. - Everything was very good. The staff was kind and responsive, the room and bathroom were clean. The main thing I liked most of all was unlimited Wi-Fi Internet with good speed. Balcony faces to the main beautiful street Ramblas, so, you can see artists and cafes along the street during the day and night life of youth at night. The bed was soft and with clean bedsheets. And it is good that there is a sink in the room.
