Very friendly staff. I was impressed by the cleanliness, esp of shared bathroom and daily cleaning of room and fresh towels. Single room, but spacious enough and comfortable. Good location with easy connections to centre, and also plenty of shops, bars etc in walking distance. Central heating!!

Room for three persons has no free space at all, but there is refrigerator.
Two separate toilets.

This place is truly Home away from Home. The lady who runs the place is so nice, very friendly and keeps the place immaculate. The rooms with shower are nice and spacious with moder decor and the single room without shower where I was staying is very comfortable with fridge and microwave. The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!
