The general ambience of the hotel. With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests. My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.

Stayed here before and it is as excellent as ever. Wonderful, if somewhat remote, location.....but remote is one thing that makes it so good! Michelin standard cuisine and excellent wine cellar. Terrific staff. An absolute haven of peaceful contentment and class. -

St. Lucia is an amazing place. Little Eden made it really easy to enjoy - their staff are friendly, always happy to help and willing to bend over backwards for you. The accomodation was lovely! We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed a stunning view of the Estuary and Ocean every morning. One night, we even had a hippo wander into the garden - amazing to see - but a little scary at the same time.

June was the most friendliest hostess we ever have had! She had beach equipment (chairs, surf board, mask+snorkel, coolers) which we lent to Cape Vidal. On our early birding morning she prepared lunch boxes even for the guide.

The owner June went out of her way to ensure we experienced everything St lucia had to offer. She arranged tours, coolers and anything else needed to make our experience something to remember. A wonderful hostess, relaxed atmosphere and lovely breakfast too.

Garth, Jeanine and Rosina are warm, caring hosts who take your experience personally. We were treated like family - but that wasn't unique to us. I watched them care for everyone with as much attentiveness as each desired. The location is very good, feeling is like home. It's difficult to create that kind of environment, and they excel at it. -
