Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and were able to help me with translation issues and directions. I had a room on the street side, which I was pleasantly surprised did not have much noise. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. I really appreciated the outstanding service that that the staff offered to us. While there, I had my passport stolen by a pickpocket on a bus and Svetlana, a staff member, took us to the police station and assisted us by acting as a translator. While enroute to the station, she gave us a running commnentary on the sights in St. Petersburg. The food in the two hotel resturants were excellent, but the one called Marius had more choices.

It took me a lot of time to book a hotel in St. Pete. But the 5th Corner was worth all my time. I enjoyed my staying there very much. Hotel staffs are very friendly welcome. They accepted our early-morning check out and prepared our small breakfast set. There is 24-hour-mini mart next to the hotel, so we could buy some foods and drinks very easily. -

This place is absolutely recommended. It is right by a canal and views are beautiful, even when you are having breakfast (which is also very complete by the way). Besides it is very easy to get to the center from there and metro stations are very close if you want to move farther away. This hotel is really a bargain given its quality.

Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to
underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard
twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review
normal room but suite was excellent. Reception staff was really helpful

The location is nice and the rooms are big and always clean. They really do look like in the picture. Bathrooms were also clean. Beds were made. Wireless available, very high speed (we had the room next to the reception). All in all, I would stay there again.

The location is perfect, a block from Nevsky avenue. You can walk to
every city attraction. The personnel is wonderfull, excellent english
and helpful. A complete breakfast, with russian specialities and also
continental food for foreigners. Nice room, bathroom, pleasant heating,

The staff was very available. My walet was stollen in the street with money and ID card and others important things. One person of the satff came with us to the police station to declare the robbery. We went to the police station with one of the hotel's car. The person was very nice.
