April was wrong time of year as very quiet
Very nice staff, cute Norwegian decor, buffet breakfast and pack lunch included in the room rate. Buffet dinner on weekends was excellent and very affordable. 5 min free bus to ski slopes and 10 min walk to the center where you can cycle or cross country ski around the lake.
Close to the center of Geilo, quiet and relaxing.
Hotel very modest but clean and well maintained. Service very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is basic. view from the window on the ski lifts.
They not serve at breakfast pancakes. In room wasn`t water to drink.

Location is good
We liked the painted furniture and wood. Also they made us hot chocolate and lit a fire when we came back in from a cold walk round the frozen lake.
The room was a bit tired and in need of a refurb. Shower door didn't shut properly.
Great location in Geilo.
- Old school rooms. Nothing fancy. - Had to wait 15 mins to check in because there were no one in the reception. (20.30 at night) - Had to pay 50 Nkr per person to bring lunch from the breakfast buffét. - Breakfast is barely at minimum standard. No bacon available.
