Ce que les gens disent
Very contemporary hotel with luxurious lobby. Room was very large, and included a trouser press, coffee machine and small fridge. The bathroom had heated tiles. The breakfast buffet was excellent both in quality and choice. Pancakes were made on the spot with organic maple syrup. The location was near the water front and close to many attractions.
Excellent. we cannot get more than this. Close to everything walkable scenic. friendly and helpful staff. plenty of varieties for brakfast. very clean . walkable from Bergen railway Station. Bus and from Airport at the hotel door very reasonable rate roughly 12 dollars per person. Buses run every 15 minutes.tous commentaires »
We arrived late at night but were able to have a meal which was good. Very obliging staff. Deluxe room w as a good size with nice bathroom (recently renovated). Reasonable choice for breakfast. Walking distance to town centre and to Hurtigruten cruise terminal and train station.
We booked a twin room but was upgraded to the junior suite. It was definitly luxurious. The place was clean. The highlights were the long balcony and the gigantic bath tub both overlooking the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location of the hotel was excellent, everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in any hotel- there was a varied selection and it was all delicious and fresh!.
Excellent breakfast. One of the airport buses (the flybussbergen - not the one marked SAS) stops ringt in front. Big very comfortable room, but we paid for the superior room.
Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk; centrally located hotel with bus stop in front of the hotel (for the airportbus as well); comfortable room with spacious bathroom.
The decor was nice and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and efficiently served. Excellent location for sightseeing and shopping. Rooms were clean and attractive.
Rooms were quiet.
Good choice at breakfast.
Free tea and coffee from the entre restaurant in reception.
Excellent evening meal in the entre restaurant.
Artwork in the hotel.
our room looked almost like new and tastefully decorated, even if it was smaller than a regular room size of a 4* hotel, good and choiceful breakfast, excellent location.
Very well appointed and immaculately presented. Quirky art displays throughout the hotel. Big rooms with a bath and very quiet for such a central location.
excellent breakfast! absolutely fantastic and free! Our room's windows opened into a quiet courtyard, so no noise at night.
The helpfulness of the staff, including the young girl who was on in the restaraunt in the evenings and the Chef.
The location is pretty great, breakfast is very good, rooms are big and comfortable! Staff was very polite!.
Great location, close to everything in Bergen. Very friendly helpful staff, good breakfast. Recommend it.
Nice hotel with good breakfast. We had a very large room, but I don't know if they are all like that.
Nice newly decorated hotel. Pleasant atmosphere in this large hotel with good business facilities.
Very comfortable beds.
Central location.
Aiport bus from door.
Friendly helpful staff.
Excellent center location near harbor and turist attractions.
Breakfast was ok.
A much better room than my last visit. Floor 8 has obviously been refurbished.
Great location, worth the money (since everything is expensive in
Norway).
I was very happy as my room was upgraded to a suite. A nice surprise!.
Good location, large room and large bathroom, good breakfast, terrace.
Good wifi and breakfast. Close to ferry port and tourist area.
great breakfast, lovely staff very helpful.
Room was great and the staff was friendly.
It is very close to the ferry pier.
Excellent breakfast.
View from balcony.
Location, staff,.
It's accessible.
Location is really the most important thing for this hotel.
Rather good breakfast and audience (mostly families).
We had a poor window view - on the inner yard, but for one night it's Ok. So if you going to stay longer, ask for exterior window view.
Close to sightseeing spots, wlaking distance to Airport buses and city centre. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Good TV in room that took USB. Functioning radiator/heater in room, floor heating in bathroom.
clean, comfortable, helpful reception, good breakfast, provided all that we expect from a Scandic hotel.
Location & Breakfast were excellent.
Central location and friendly staff.
good location,breakfast is ok.
the location is good.
Location. Breakfast.
The location.
Location.
Very nice new reception they should have spended this money for renovating the rooms.
Nothing really except breakfast was quite good.
Location.
Nothing.
Internet -Access to Computer.
For a place that is quite high- end, the breakfast could be better.
We requested a double bed, but were given 2 singles. They were comfy, but not what we were expecting. The room decor was tired and old fashioned- I think other rooms are more modern because the photos look different to the room we were in.
Like most of Scandanavia, very expensive.
The room was a little stuffy and warm but still within acceptable standards.
limited range of toilletries.
Small quibble- three of the ceiling lights were not working which made it a bit gloomy and difficult to read by.
the shower would spill water onto the bathroom floor in rather copious amounts.
They didn't have any English Breakfast tea.
Air conditioner wasn't so good and rooms were a little warm.
nothing.
Not much, it's no use saying these hotels are expensive; this is Bergen after all.
Rooms with Very old furniture.
It was a bit noisy even we closed the window. During the night, you can
hear the heavy motorcycle pass by the stone road.
Only some of the elevators go to the 8th floor where our room was. We
were given no directions so had to ride to the 7th floor, back down to
the lobby, ask, cross the lobby to an elevator around a corner and then
up to the 8th floor--why couldn't the staff have said, "the
elevator you need is over there through that unmarked doorway and to the
right" when we were given our key?.
Very minor: Odd two steps up into the bathroom.
Really dated decor and furniture in the rooms. Part of the bathroom ceiling fell down, it really needs an update, I think it may be in the process of it.
We were given wrong information on the bus going to the airport.
Bergen, like the rest of Norway, is extremely expensive. The hotel was quite expensive for the accommodations.
Only Earl Grey tea available in the room: this is not real tea!.
It's too expensive.
Norway is not budget friendly.
Staff did not handle my request for a wake up call.
With this price I would expect free car parking.
Old uncomfortable beds and outdated bedroom. Cold room with drafts from window.
When we arrived, our room was old/dated/grubby. The next morning I spoke to reception & they promptly moved us to a newer room.
The Internet computer keyboard was filthy and stuck to your fingers!.
the standard room for 2 persons is very small, the elevator to our floor was out of service.
a little more noise ,especially the seagul's voice.
No gym. Old room.
The room I was in on the third floor had such poor lighting that it was impossible to read a book.
Small room, uncomfortable bed, bad air in romm, too hot.
Very dirthy bathroom with fungus all over the walls and floor, no service minded staff att the reception, no reaction to our complain etc.
Neptun rooms are very dated and I couldn't recommend hotel unless it was classed as budget.
Unfriendly check in
Dated room decoration.
The Scandic Neptun in Bergen Norway has a great location in Bergen, and
the breakfast was good, and free wifi is also good, but that is all. The
room had a very bad smell. We think it came from the bathroom (We had a
room on floor 5). For a room we paid 1700 nok per night (for two
persons, and the room was suppost to be of class Superior but was
nothing extra.) we had expected much more! The hotel is not worth it!!
We can not recommend this hotel.
