The bar downstairs is relaxing and non-touristy - a great change from Amsterdam. Try the burgers from the place next door - they are terrific.   We liked the decoration and also it is very clean. The concept of the room being together with bathroom was a little bit shocking at the beginning but you get to used to it. The location is perfect, just in the old town of this little town. The owner was also very friendly. - It was a very nice stay. Bed and Breakfast at its best.   The hotel was clean and comfortable: just what I needed after a long tiring day. Breakfast was nice and early. Food was good, plentiful and fresh. The people were friendly and I felt instantly at ease. I arrived late in the day, around 9pm. They had left a note on the door with my name and a number to call. This was nice. The hotel itself is unusual & quaint. Each room is individual as the hotel is a converted shop/townhouse.   This hotel was great and a fantastic 4 star. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and decor was modern and sleek. The bathroom was clean, spacious, with a rainfall shower (amazing) and heated floors. The hotel is in a good location, Amersfoort train station is 10 minutes walk and the centre was 15 minutes walk. The intercity train to Amsterdam is 30 minutes but the sprinter - Excellent value for money, large room and modern shower. Kettle with coffee/tea provided and a fridge for personal use. A/C. Very quiet and free car parking. 10 mins walk from the heart of Amersfoort. Supermarket next door. Couldn't have been better really. I would only recommend that maybe the hotel could provide information on the restaurant/menu etc and have some leaflets on the local area.
