Ce que les gens disent
Tofu cafe is in the heart of Georgetown but nestled in a very quiet corner of it. It's a renovated 150-year old heritage building. It's a cute little hostel with Pods style beds with a comfy bed in female (4 pods) and mix dorm. You get your own Night lamp and fan. Tofu Cafe is very well air conditioned place, and after a lon hot day out in town, its a pleasure to go back to. It's in walking distance to all the main attractions. You can rent a bike and easily ride around the neighborhood. If you. tous commentaires »
The rooms dont lend themselves too well to socialising as the pods are
quite private (which I liked) but the Cafe is a good social area for
people to meet instead. The breakfast is basic, but has good variety,
and the staff are really very helpful. It was great to be able to leave
my luggage overnight whilst I visited Langkawi as well, I knew it was in
safe hands! Comfy beds, safe luggage storage, hot well powered showers,
and easy walking distance of mainland ferry, island buses and Langkawi
f. The pods are comfy and private, the beds and nice and clean, the hotel managers are extremely helpful and greet you with a smile more sincere than a 5 star hotel staff, the food reminds you of a normal morning at home with bread and toast, the atmosphere is like home. What more could you ask for for such an inexpensive stay? It's the heart that this hotel shows to its guests that makes it so fun and exciting to venture around Penang and to know that they have a homey place to come back to at th.
The staff, including the owners, were very polite, friendly and professional. They've traveled, know what a bagpacker needs and they cater for that. They serve great food, particularly the bacon and maple syrup sandwich. Breakfast is a good spread for this price. I just felt welcomed and included by the staff.
Such a nice place for a solo traveller, you can get friends here.
The owner of this guest house also very kind and friendly.
As the picture of this guest house ,it is actually so lovely!!!!
You also can get half price to rent bicycle then to drive encicle the town...
Super nice couple! Gave us many useful information about food, places of interest cannot read on other travel guide, even an hand-made map with detail route guide. Their help was very important for our city trip. Wish all the best to them!.
The vibe is quirky and refreshing, we really liked the concept of the pod, the place is clean and the system is well-organized. The staff is competent and thoughtful. Overall a great experience.
Lucas and Joyce are sooooooooooo nice~
room is clean and space is quite big. if u wanna coffee, just go downstairs~
Lucas and Joyce'll give u lots of suggestion about eating and visiting around.
Very friendly hosts, free bike rental included with stay (3 nights plus), close to Komtar bus terminal, and C&F food court. Very spacious, quiet, not very busy, comfortable, well designed.
Cosy, welcoming safe and secure environment, nice place to relax after a day exploring Georgetown. The staff/owners were very helpful/had good suggedtions for what to do around town.
good location, good service. The hotel provide the service to rent bicycle. It's easy to go around main view in the city.
Lucas and Joyce were very nice and friendly. The home made chicken soup and pumpkin soup were so awesome and delicious.
Nice stuff
Very comfortable and quite space for sleeping
Design of Tofu is great.
the location is convinent, staff friendly, family's feeling, cheap and nice!.
Almost everything about the place.
Especially the photos :).
very kind and warm staff. thanks for the maps.
Nice staffs!!
About 5 mins walk to Komtar!!.
Location, staff, the place, cleanliness.
It's really clean, warm and cozy.
very friendly!!.
everything.
Towels are not included in the pod, but you can rent one for RM5
Wifi is a bit slow but it's free
They had a curfew system that customers have to follow but it makes you feel so safe.
Not so much didnt like, but 5 minutes walk to bus/ferry terminal is
a little optimistic, especially with luggage. 10-15 mins is more
accurate when you know where you are going, and when you dont it is not
well known amongst people to ask locally - it took us nearly an hour to
find with people sending us in all directions! Not Tofu's fault, but
make sure you have a map with you, dont rely on directions from locals!. I see none.
I have no cause to complain.
Location is somewhat out of the way for people looking to be in the center of the action on Lebuh Chulia. But made up for by other factors - particularly bike rental.
Personally for me this wasn't an issue, but some travellers might find the curfews annoying (7am to 12:30 midnight), but I really didn't see it as an issue- its advised not to go out too late at night in Penang anyway!.
it's difficult to find the road when you first time get here. If you come here by bus, it's better to tell driver the road name Jalan C.Y. choy, which driver more familier.
Nothing :).
People was playing very loud music till 12 at night because of celebration. We understand it's out of control from hostel. Except the noise, everything was ok.
Nothing at all.
nothing.
