  The hotel is nicely decorated and is quite spacious. All stuff here are super friendly and helpful. The receptionist could speak English and Chinese as well. He took a very good care of us. Very impressed. If you want to enjoy yourself in a nice and quiet small town, this is the hotel you should book. Not too many fancy and high-tech stuff, but ... ce que les gens disent » warm in deed. You could borrow bikes from the hotel and explore the small town yourself. - Sozankyo is a well-maintained ryokan -style accommodation that is ideal for Aso. It is located in a small town about 10 minute bus ride from Aso JR station. There is nothing much to say about the small town, but it is nice and cozy (i.e. don't expect any colorful night life here). The onsen is very nice and clean.
